david85williams
Hi all! Can someone please recommend me a suitable paint for my brake discs? Obviously I won't be painting the braking surface!

Tricky-Ricky
Smoothrite/Hammerite works fine but so does 2K, used this on lots of cars for disc's and calipers.
-Bradders-
dont you mean your calipers? or you actually want to paint the disc?
andy10v
dont you mean your calipers? or you actually want to paint the disc? Seems to be quite popular to paint the disc hat at the moment, you dont see surface corrosion on the unswept areas of the discs, you can buy coated discs so the coating is only cleaned off the area the pad contacts. Rock_Steady
I sprayed mine in chrome paint. Doesn't look chrome by any means but has a certain something about it compared to the Hammerite finish.

Ekona
Nowt wrong with painting the hat where it rusts, but for the love of taste please don't do it in anything other than black.
