GC350z
To be honest I don't see the point in having a decent car and using it only when the temperature goes above 20 degress. I agree - it does surprise me how many seem to put their ZEDs away when the weather turns from untypically sunny to typically wet and grey for this country. OK so we have to ease back on the right foot and be a little more wary for the clowns that don't know how to drive in bad weather, but then balancing the car's performance aginst the prevailing conditions is all part of the pleasure of driving and using the ZED as often as I can means more of these ..... Pah, mines a daily driver regardless of weather. Happy driving in frosty/icy conditions. Haven’t driven a Z in snow yet. Doesn’t snow very often here. Rarely get out of the city. Have a heavy foot. I'm on 10 to 11 litres per 100km. That's 25 to 28 mpg in my 07. When I had an 04 it was closer to 20mpg.

NWZ
Stan, The shell c.card is open to everybody. It's a mastercard (Citi). Defo worth it if you do a lot of miles (like us). As far as comfort goes, I've had my Zed since Sept this year and done 12k miles! I just love driving... No probs with seat comfort absolutely fine. When your on a motorway you can actually forget your in a 3.5 sports car it drives as good as any of the Germans motors, in fact I would say the weightyness of the wheel and the performance in the brakes (I've upgrade so might make a difference) are both brilliant. I'm self employed and had the chance to buy any German saloon but chose the Zed 'cos I wanted one badly! Best choice I ever made, sod the miles and the petrol! A couple of years ago I had a Lexus IS200 and was getting circa 400 miles out of a tank which was costing at today's price about £45. I fill up the Zed for about £50 and get about 330 miles to a tank - not much difference is there really. And the power is on tap if you want to get sub 200 miles to a tank on your loud pedal days. One other thing, the car is so rare you'll hardly see another on a road for days (unless were passing M56 <->), it feels special to drive as well and it looks the absolute dogs knackers. When you take the car for a test drive, open your window and floor it. Then come back and tell us when your buying one! Just make sure you come back here for buying tips before you make any rash decisions (what to look out for etc). If it's local any of us northern boys will be happy to come along and give some advice....
martinmac
I commute 350 miles and it has no comfort issues for me. Takes a while to get rid of the stupid grin though
NWZ
Yeah I tend to have a 350 mile commute (on a Sunday :teeth:) Right, where's that tunnel then
