Kaveney
I have a leek coming from the diff bush that I will change for some Whiteline units but at the same time was thinking about changing the diff to a Kazz 1.5 super Q or something . The car is my day to day with some track outings now and then so I would be looking for something more for the road . Can anyone recommend ? Thanks Alan
docwra
Nismo GT Pro is an awesome bit of kit, that would be my recommendation
Kaveney
I have heard that this is noisy and a bit harsh for road use . Alan Nismo GT Pro is an awesome bit of kit, that would be my recommendation
docwra
No, the Kaaz is noisy and harsh, the GT Pro you dont even notice is there. If I was wanting a track diff then the Kazz would do, but for a roadcar the GT Pro is the boy
Keyser
I had the Kaaz, on my 350 - awesome bit of kit but it is harsh and quite noisy for slow driving round town but on track it is the dogs dodars
nissanman312
What about the quaife?
andy10v
What about the quaife? Should be a nice upgrade for daily use, hassle free. Wavetrac would be even better as it will not go open under no load, but still avoids the hassle of a plated diff.
Kev T
As Keyser says it is one of the best handling mods and for putting the power down if you aren't bothered by a bit of rattling during low speed turns, personally i find it makes me feel more in touch with the car in a wierd sort of way. docwra
What about the quaife? Painless for road use, but Torsen style, doesnt work the same as a 1.5 or 2 way. I definitely prefer a proper diff, but then I like going sideways
ZMANALEX
What about the quaife? For Girls.
Kaveney
So the Quaife would be best for me then Dos this need new drive shafts as my GT has the VLSD . Alan

BobbyZ
Would the Quaife be noticably different from the stock VLSD?
ZMANALEX
What about the quaife? For Girls. What do you run on your beast? Kazz 2 way, set at 60% lock: very quiet.

nissanman312
I see how coilovers could make the car handle beter along with roll bars etc I understand the diff helps you get the power down But I don't seem to struggle with that Or is a different diff something that becomes verry aparant to why it's beter once fitted
evilscorp
Alex, you can't hear anything over your exhaust that's probably why it's quiet lol. My kaaz 1.5 way 78%(or something, can't remember) is noisy at low speeds but trying new oil soon to see if that helps. Driving style is so different, still getting used to it, horrible at low speeds but omg once you get going its fantastic. Unless your tyres are cold and you get a bit excited coming off a roundabout =§
