gangzoom
A few people on here mentioned they liked the look for the RC-F. Lexus has just announced the RC-300h (220bhp - hybrid, 0-60 8 seconds) and RC-200t (240bhp - 4 cylinder turbo, 0-60, 7.5 seconds) is coming to the UK. Essentially same chassis as the RC-F, but with the engine set-up from the current generation IS saloon. Pricing wise they aren't exactly value for money, list price is £5K more than the IS - The IS can also be had for about 10-15% off list price from the right dealers. RC300H luxury £34,995 RC200T f sport £36,200 Still an alternative to the German barges.....and may interest some. They are loaded with kit, and in a few years will be decent value. http://www.rrg-group...-lexus-rc-coupe Edited October 7, 2015 by gangzoom
Bems
It's a good looking car. Shame the same can't be said for the dynamics
Ekona
Not with that front. Hideous. And not for that money, no way.
gangzoom
^^ The pricing is pretty mental, the top spec RC300H in Premier spec with adaptive cruise control is going to be £43K. We paid nearly £10K less for our IS300H Premier with the same engine, same amount of toys, and more doors (but still weights 20kg less).....But I suspect Lexus aren't really chasing after mass market sales with these cars . Ekona
Tbh, it looks like they're chasing people who want to be different for the sake of being different, because you'd have to be crazy to want one of those over the German equivalent. LRF4N
Looking to get a car on lease in the near future. 4 series is top of my list but I would consider one of these for the rarity factor. Love the 4 but it is really common. Plus a hybrid would suit my rush hour traffic driving It will probably be a fair whack more than the 4 on a lease though
AMT
Even if they driving dynamics aren't as good I'd still prob have one over some sort of 3 series. I kinda like the looks, got presence... unlike most German stuff. Expensive but I like them... I like 'different', that's why I have a 350Z. Ekona
That, I will never get. I can understand buying the uglier car because it drives better, but the uglier car that drives worse because it's rare? Nope, don't get it.
LRF4N
Drove the IS300h and thought it was an excellent drive. Interior is nicer than the beamer, apart from the analogue clock. Some nice gadgets inside like the touch bar for temp control Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. I think it looks the part. The profile is far nicer than the 4 Black out the chrome on the grille and that's a stunning car

AMT
Seen a good few IS's on the road now and in the right colour and spec I think they are one of the best looking saloons out just now. 3 series looks the same...so crap. C-Class is stunning inside but outside its a bit... cuddly lookin lol. Jags are nice mind you the XE can look slightly dull.Yeah I'd go as far to say in that small saloon class it could be my fav looking car. (until alfa shows up.. I'm not sure where the new one likes if its a 3 series or 5 series effort). Some nice colours I think anyway... that it suits, they look good In the various greys... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201507305637880?radius=1500&page=2&sort=pricedesc&make=lexus&postcode=g116tu&search-target=usedcars&model=is_300h&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&logcode=p http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201508055807317?radius=1500&page=2&sort=pricedesc&make=lexus&postcode=g116tu&search-target=usedcars&model=is_300h&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&logcode=p http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201509076705743?sort=pricedesc&postcode=g116tu&radius=1500&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&model=is_300h&page=1&search-target=usedcars&make=lexus&logcode=p http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201510017398434?sort=pricedesc&postcode=g116tu&radius=1500&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&model=is_300h&page=1&search-target=usedcars&make=lexus&logcode=p Edited October 9, 2015 by AMT
gangzoom
I have to say I love the way my wife's IS300H looks, especially the rear 3/4 view. handling wise it's better than my old E90 335i stock, and seeing some stupid mpg readings on both long and short runs. It's a shame we don't get the sporty version here. http://www.roadandtr...n-65-3-roa1013/ Not sure about the RC chassis though, never driven one, but the reviews of the RCF aren't exactly flattering
