N4eay
Hi all, I know what I'm about to ask has been touch on in other posts I have read, but can seem to find common answers / solutions. As we all know the clutch is the Z is a tricky bugger, trying to get a good clean start all the time is nearly impossible, when it comes to launching from traffic lights or roundabouts I find it even harder to get a smooth quick start, trying not to just dump the clutch. On very few occasions (once this morning, and once 6 months ago) I have not balanced it well and the revs get to about 3.5k whilst letting go of the clutch but the clutch pedal seems to hover halfway until I let off the gas. Seems like there a vacuum is built up if over revved. Really strange and annoying. I don't think the clutch is worn out because it's fine 90% time and gear changes are smooth. Any ideas.....? Bullet
More than likely your slave cylinder needs replacing.
