welshbuddy
Hey guys. I've bought a OMP steering wheel and a aftermarket Hub. I've taking the ateering wheel off following a guide. And the guide doesn't instruct or say how to remove this part. I guess I need to remove this and then insert my new hub. Then just link everything up and add resistor to airbag. Cheers guys in advance

Jumzo
I dont think you should have to take that part off
welshbuddy
Well what about the connectors that sit on top of it? The hub won't fit on top of the connections... I've unscrewed the connections but they don't seem like they want to come Away.
Jumzo
I could be mistaken, never actually fitted one to a zed but on other cars it has fitted over it. What type of boss is it?
welshbuddy
Just one for aftermarket steering wheels. Just one off eBay for a 350z
SiriusProjects
I had the same problem when I bought a Momo steering wheel. I went for a Momo Hub too which supposedly fitted a Nissan 350Z, but when I tried to fit it, there was no cut out on the hub to accommodate the connectors. I ended up buying a HKS hub in the end, which fitted a treat.
GMballistic
Could be the boss/hub adaptor is wrong maybe welshbuddy. Any pictures of it? what make is it? I have heard the HKB is a good one for the 350Z. Link: http://www.driftwork...shi-subaru.html Guide I found here about aftermarket steering wheel fitment but not sure if it's any help to you. welshbuddy
It's a Nardi one., It's sounds like what your saying Sirius is the. Problem I got . My hub has no cut out either , it's just a flat blanking face. Said on eBay it was for a 350z..... Meh. Was thinking surely I didn't have to remove the plastic connections . So that's what you guys think yeah? Wrong hub.? I can take photos of the hub tomorrow , it's in the car at the moment.
GMballistic
Wouldn't be the first time nor the last that something advertised on eBay didn't fit/work etc for what it was advertised to fit/work for. Buyers protected on eBay so I'd send the hub back for a full refund as it doesn't sound like it's fit for purpose. Good luck with it. GMballistic
Hhhmmmm, ...£19.99 including postage. Personally I'd get that thing sent back and spend a bit more on a decent make as after all it is an essential part for insuring your Zed doesn't just crash off the road.

Richie94gts
I previously bought a momo and eBay one. Neither fitted, went with one from demon tweeks in the end, still needed to take it start and modify it a bit even then though.
