Kaveney
Ok I have just ordered some Coilovers but have never had any dealings with them before so this will be my first time . Installing them will be no problem as I have replaced the shock and spring before on the car in the last few months so know all that . The bit im unsure about is the ride height and the spring pre load etc . How is the ride height set and adjusted . Regards Alan
Ekona
What have you ordered? Full coilover conversion, or as per the OEM setup with separate dampers and springs at the rear?

Kaveney
Yes think im getting myself confused its the below . MeisterR Zeta-R Coilovers [True Coilovers Design]
Ekona
They're the same as OEM, separate springs and dampers at the rear. EDIT That's not a bad thing, makes the install a hell of a lot easier! Edited September 17, 2015 by Ekona
Adrian@TORQEN
Won't be a straight fit if they're rear true coilover design. Have a look here: http://www.cyberspee...products_id=212 You need the rear toe arms with them too as you're getting rid of the OEM mid links where the spring holders is. Look here: http://www.splparts.com/spl-titanium-rear-toe-links-350z-g35/ Edited September 17, 2015 by octet@TORQEN
Kaveney
Yes they are the rear true coilover design and I have the rear arms http://www.cyberspee...products_id=212 Alan
Ekona
http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/55218-meisterr-zeta-r-coilovers-for-sale-500-sold/ That post there would indicate to me that they're not true coilovers. However, if Meister R have changed their design since then, that would explain that. I assume you have them in hand? You will need to beef up the rear subframe around the mounting points of the coilovers on the rear IF you are converting to true dual. Not something to be undertaken lightly. Kaveney
No not that set up that is the Zeta S I have the Zeta R and have read about beefing up the rear mount . Some people have and others have not and have been fine . I think this rear bar is to take up some of the load that losing the inboard rear spring does . http://www.hardrace.co.uk/nissan-350z-adj-rear-lower-arm-change-the-shock-to-1pc-dei.html http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/55218-meisterr-zeta-r-coilovers-for-sale-500-sold/ That post there would indicate to me that they're not true coilovers. Ekona
The ad specifically states Zeta R, so looks like someone was done over then if you say they're the Zeta S. I've never seen either set in the flesh, I'm just going on what I found.
