harryjackson
Hey guys I have an issue with my power steering cooler. Tried to fix the leak which I thought was on one of the pipes but it's still leaking! I took it to an empty car park to investigate doing some figure of 8's and to my shock when I got home the power steering fluid in the bottle was boiling. Obviously not a good sign as the cooler isn't doing its job My question is, upgrade to a new one or try and get someone to repair old unit? Has anyone done it? If yes, how hard of a job is it? Any help much appreciated. Cheers everyone
Carbon.Ninja
I think it is relatively not complicated to do considering pipework, mounting brackets and some creativity. Saw it in US forum however I guess to find a suitable cooler. One point to note maybe to the expert here on H-PAS is the system pressure sensitive? I don't know hence I ask because pending on design of selecting a new cooler may result increase in pressure drop... 我從使用 Tapatalk çš„ Nexus 6 ç™¼é€
Vlad
As said above - not hard to do. Mishimoto sell uprated/bigger coolers. Shouldn't take more than an hour to replace all as literally it's only 1 bottle, 2 pipes, pump(which you are not touching) and the cooler. harryjackson
Cheers lads! Only problem being I might need to replace the hoses if they're buggared. Then the job becomes a lot more difficult that just replace the cooler itself :-(
Vlad
Not really...hoses are really easy replace. I'm replacing mine this week and adding polished bottle.

Any chance I could take a drive over and you can help diagnose bro? Where did you buy the rubber hoses from?
