Isis are hardly small and westboro are not creating utter carnage in the name of their faith and sure if they were, it would be being discussed by goverments, the un and we would see the disturbing images at the head of this thread.

My point was that religion can be twisted however you see fit. What about gays, and abortion then? Pretty sure that Catholics aren't happy with the latter, and they're quite a big outfit

Frankly aside from warp drive and Tribbles, I can only hope one day we get to a future that currently only exist in science fiction....Though bizarrely ask any children if they thought we could/should progress to a society like StarTrek, I bet most wouldn't see it as a problem.

Tell me about it, opened up a fresh box of coco pops today and when I went to eat them I found a few were burnt. It was disgusting, I had to spit them out on to a plate and put them in the bin, heads need to roll at coco pops HQ.

I see your point. Christians don't go round openly executing homosexual men and women or anyone else for that matter. Things like that are frowned upon and they're encouraged to "change their ways". Whereas Islam or factions calling themselves Muslims simply execute you for being different.

 

Although I think, on some level, America and USA kill in the name of God. In a vague roundabout kinda way.

You are discussing survival of the fittest in the animal kingdom, nothing to do with being civilised and evolved

 

Actually survival of the fittest is the concept where one specific trait an individual has gives them the advantage over others in a specific environment. Hence nature and evolution selects the best trait to evolve.

 

The only difference between the Marquas monkeys is which 'family' they were born into, the monkeys in the pool have no inherent genetic trait over the others. It's their social convention that dictates their behaviour.

 

Much like there is no difference between any human being born on this planet. But social convention dictates if you born in UK, your 'entitled' to a western lifestyle. Where as if your born in rural India your be lucky to make it out of childhood.

 

So your right, we are nothing like animals, we're much worse.

What absolute horseshit, have quick look on here for threads asking for help and the responses they get from advice to other members viewing cars at opposite ends of the country, all for free and with no expectation of reward or return. There's plenty of other threads about sick relatives, charity efforts, money raising and this place is just a car forum.

If so can I ask what made you come to that conclusion, apart from the fact you were lucky enough to be born in the UK??
