Chan267
Anyone have these mods fitted? Interested to see how loud the grinding noise that the final drive makes when going down the gears. Also feedback on the improvement from changing diffs. May be my next two mods Edited August 31, 2015 by Chan267
nissanman312
Dom on here runs the quaife diff I'm sure he will be along shortly But as far as I know he loves it
Ewen@Clark Motorsport
An LSD is one of the best mods you can do although a plate type LSD would be the best if its mainly for track use compared to the Quaife.

So the quaife is better where? On the road?
Ewen@Clark Motorsport
Yes it would potentially be easier to live with than say a Kazz. An OS Giken though is very refined and I have found them to be very easy to live with on the road. If it was my money I would go for a plate type LSD over the torque bias type based purely on Performance.
nissanman312
The 370z diff is already a plate type diff isn't it Pardon my ignorance
Ewen@Clark Motorsport
I'm pretty sure its the same as the 350Z which is a VLSD
fake ben taylor
Torque bias diffs are better if the cars setup is correct. Sadly most lower the cars withput any though to correcting roll centres and knacker it all up

gstraw
If we have an lsd why would you need to replace it? This one much better? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dajw
Quaife is perfect IMHO. Quiet, maintenance free and has made the car super controllable. I understand that a plated diff will be better for track use, but for everyday use, and even some track work you can't go wrong with the Quaife. Horsham Dev. knows how to fit them, having had a go on my car. No issues. More info on my car's blog, link in sig. Dominic.
