Adrian@TORQEN
Go on then, add a set of the intakes for me.... Black pipes please. Ordered, will PM you soon. so did any one notice the Litchfield badge at the rear?? Has this already been fettled by Litchfield? Pure car porn fair play It was a Stage 2 when I bought it, so yes, mapped by Litchfield.

Adrian@TORQEN
It's been a while from the last update. Well, I'm still not modifying this one, clearly! So while I was away on "forced holiday" after speaking with Nissan GB GTR master technician representative, I went to Nissan West London to investigate some little paint defects. They've booked the car in early January for a full corrosion inspection under warranty. Both doors have some tiny spots with bubbling under the paint, very close to the mirror. In the boot, just by the rubber seal, there are some spots of rust as well, very small, but they've said it's paint defect. As we've finished the 370z and was collected by Scott, we had a bit more space in the garage to tinker with the cars, so the GTR went in. Nothing major... you'll see in a minute Then this happened Don't fret, not doing any weight saving, not fitting a roll cage, we just needed access from inside to the shocks, as we were fitting these: Litchfield suspension package Eibach ARBs: And some OEM rear drop links as we had to cut the old ones off, rubbish Nissan drop links! More in the next post...
Adrian@TORQEN
As it was my birthday, I thought I might as well treat myself today, so the new skirt arrived from Zele USA: to replace the one I damaged in the Scotland trip in September. Quick strip of the engine plenum to make space for the new ASNU 14 holes 1050cc injectors and GotBoostPerformance 3" intakes: As these were off, I thought it would be a good time to give them a make over so we went to SPC Automotive, collected some 2K black matt VHT paint to make them look like the new intakes, crinkled black. I've masked them and also degreased them, then give them a few coats of black. After first coat: 3 coats later they came out really good, here they were still wet: Final setup looking like this: New EcuTEK v5.0 loaded, the car is now a Stage 4.25 Need to do some more logging for any further tweaks, but it's running perfectly and the power / torque it's simply INSANE. Left the garage about 10:30pm That's it for now, more Nismo GTR parts on the way from Japan, nothing major, just some interior bits. That should conclude the modding on this car. Until next time

Adrian@TORQEN
Stage 2.25 to 4.25 upgrade made a HUGE difference, probably because I was getting used to the power... It's simply INSANE now, sooooo much torque! And yes, I'm not modifying this one, it's still standard if you ask me
Darren-B
Modifying is such an overused lame word anyway
Adrian@TORQEN
True, should only be used for serious stuff only, like changing wipers, changing bulbs etc

Bodyboarder81
I'll take a guess at 670bhp and 550ftlb ?
Adrian@TORQEN
I'll take a guess at 670bhp and 550ftlb ? About 660-670bhp and closer to 600lb/ft torque.
Bodyboarder81
That's got to be on the limit of the gearbox at that ftlb ? Crazy figures though for such light modding !
Adrian@TORQEN
That's on the Stage 4, without downpipes and on v4 software. EcuTek v5 has better / bigger figures. T

Dashurik
Does gtr has factory LSD or you need to upgrade to put such torque to practice? I know that many c63 have no lsd(even from factory) and that torque is mega useless (but its fun to spin the wheels) if you really want to drive properly.Lots of guys upgrade for Quafie LSD which makes massive difference! is yours same or complete stock?
