Dashurik
Congratulations Adrian! Nice car... Mods! Lock the tread before Adrian changes his mind and starts modding his car!
nissanman312
Have you turned the GTRs traction control off (and the Litchfield TC)? Is the Litchfield tc done using Ecutek if it is I can vouch for that on the 370z it's awsome
Adrian@TORQEN
Little update: Went to Kaizer Motor yesterday to have the 60 months major service done on OCTZILLA. Arrived there bright and early, about 7:30am to avoid the chaos on M25 & A2. Sly arrived about 8:00am and soon after Aston turned up, too. Everytime I go there, there's always a nice selection on GTRs in different upgrade stages or colours Yesterday I found this lot in: While Sly and Aston were shifting cars around and getting my car on the ramp I went inside the "trophy room" for a quick tea. Car on the ramp, time to get serious Part of the 60 month service, you need to change the brake lines, so good excuse to upgrade to Goodridge Phantom lines and Motul RBF660 Also as part of the service car had full alignment done Oil and filters changed, coolant topped up, brakes pads and discs are perfect with lots of life left in them, tyres are new. Spark plugs replaced also. Optimisation carried out. Belt replaced and 2 bearings in some little tensioners were also replaced as they were having some play in them. Left about 3pm Didn't get a chance to have the new Ecutek 5 in it as apparently there is a little bug in the software/mapping which Litchfield and Ecutek are working on to sort out. Oh, well, that's a good excuse to go back to Kaizer Motor again, best place for a GTR (or any Nissan!) to visit in South Easth My brother from another mother DarrenB also popped by to say hello, which is always nice As usual, the customer service and Nissan technical knowledge is by far the best I've experienced so far in 6 years of Nissan ownership. Every single question answered in detail, I got to hang around cars and see exactly what was happening, very honest and transparent, you don't get any better than that. It's about 60 miles from where I live, but well worth the drive. Thanks Sly and Aston and see you guys again very soon! GMballistic
It was always gonna happen Adrian, despite all your denials í ½í¸‰ I'm pretty sure we all knew that would be the case. Glad to see the GTR getting treated to some loving.
Adrian@TORQEN
You guys don't get it, I'M NOT MODDING THIS CAR! It was Sly's option to put the brake lines on, that's what he uses as standard, as part of the service. I haven't asked for it, nor supply it. In other news, just order a better TT kit for the GTR! I'm joking, panic over!
Adrian@TORQEN
1 month later and still not modified! Well except minor, very minor bits Got rid of the horrible bonnet stick and fitted some carbon fibre struts: Also replaced some of the ugly and rusty OEM bolts with TORQEN black titanium ones: See? I can behave.... although I've ordered the injectors and the intakes for the Stage 4.25
