N4eay
Hi Guys, Advise / experience please..... Need new front tyres, have got 3 month old Goodyear F1's non XL on the rear (very impressed by them especially compared with the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's) want the same on the front. Looking on tyre leader they have well priced Goodyear F1's XL rated, would there be any problems having XL on the front and not on the rear? brillomaster
i dont think so... XL tyres are just slightly stiffer sidewalls to support extra load, but you might find a bit of extra stiffness helps with turn in. its the same rubber and the same tread pattern though. Cool thanks, was hoping that would be the case. Cheers
Ekona
I wouldn't worry about it either.
dajw
I was wondering the exact same question. Seems not to be an issue.
