DaveH
Firstly, Hello everyone, has anyone seen my old zed? (D4V3 GT4) It's been ages since I've been on here, and I've had to create a new account! And sorry if there's a thread a mile long on what I'm about to ask!!! Who else has put a deposit down? Me and my boss are putting down ours tomorrow with Middlehurst. For late 2008-09 delivery. Anyone?? DaveH
WoREoD
As dealers cant order yet, they are not supposed to take deposits. Mine has a list which last time I checked was 37 long but wont take deposits until they *know* they will be a chosen dealer and can place advance orders. No dealer knows for certain they will be approved.... I was told Middlehurst had over 40 they'd taken deposits for - interest on £40k for twelve months must be nice....... DaveH
Yeah I was thinking that!! But makes no odds to me really, but as far as I'm aware they are defo confirmed as a dealer, and they're getting one in January?? Their race car????? Can't take it out or anything like that. Anyway, see how it goes.
martinmac
I have considered this and these are my thoughts. I dont want to put a deposit on a car ( which I love) without knowing the final price and delivery date. There is also the issue of carpetbagging and how Nissan have said they may deal with it. If the car is sold within a short time after purchase from new it will void the warranty. I love the car and intend to buy one. The nice thing is that I really love the car I have and do not see me feeling any different for a long long time. I do not crave speed or track performance so I will keep enjoying my zed until the GT-r is available, if not I will keep enjoying my zed. May also have to see what the GT-R forum is like as its pretty good here Oh, and I have a tv next to my laptop so am watching Top Gear

DaveH
.... No the other is for Avy's brother, my boss. Not done it yet, no rush I suppose. No had to use the money from my Zed to help pay for the new house, and pay for the new car, and there's f**king no way any of you lot are gonna find out what I'm driving, until I change it for the GT R. All I'm saying is that I've got a maaassssive mortgage and have yet to furnish the house, hence the car I'm driving..... the car I'm not telling you about.
