DanVal
Hey guys im despereate to know just bought my beauty its an 08 350z vq35hr , there is a noise coming from it when its idling sometimes when the clutch is disengaged, when I engage the clutch it goes away, I have spoken to a few specialist and they say this is a common noise that 350z's make, is this true because I still have warranty but it means stripping the box! oh and there is a whine when ur going up the gears, I initially thought it was just the way it sounded but someone else told me different its not an alarming whine but it is there! Appreciate any advice! Edited August 20, 2015 by DanVal

tommoger
Mine does it too, nothing wrong with it, it's something to do with the clutch bearing (or something like that) according to my mechanic. Mine's a tad louder since fitting a single mass flywheel but it's never affected how it operates, nothing to worry about

CJRamze
Welcome to 350z. Had a revup and now a HR. Both stupidly noisy when disengaged. Get a new exhaust drown it out. Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
