samsniss350z
I've looked without success for a solution to a problem that has been afflicting the rear o/s inboard drum brake of my '04 Zed GT. When driving at any speed below 50mph i get a knocking sound which disappears when going around right hand bends/corners. It also disappears when i lift the handbrake lever (not full on but enough to engage the shoes). I know that its going to have to be stripped but was wondering if anyone has encountered anything similar and has a fix for this. Its definitely not clicky axles. Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah its an '04 Coupe with GT pack with 80k on the clock, i've owned it for 3 trouble free years. Thanks Sent by phone so mods if its in wrong section please correct. ZMANALEX
Just pull the brake disc/drum and you should see the issue which will probably be a spring or shoe malfunction. Also check the hub bearing for play.
