s1xtyn1n3
My battery died at the weekend and I had to replace it. It was all looking good, but today the car refused to start - all electrics were working, windows, instruments, seats, etc. but nothing from the starter motor. I can't even hear the solenoid ticking. I need to double check the connections to the battery, but my other suspicion is something might be up with the immobiliser maybe? I know very little about this stuff - what else could it be or should I check? Is a battery replacement as simple as unplugging the old one and plugging the new one in? s1xtyn1n3
I forgot to mention possibly the most important part. So this is an intermittent issue. If the car refuses to start, I leave it for a few minutes after trying and it starts up fine. Seems weird to me but hopefully makes sense to someone!
