gillywig2
I've just fitted cc to my 350GT Skyline. Like yours, as an import it did not have cc, but a guy on http://www.sau.com.au/ put a kit together including factory switches and an aftermarket control unit. Maybe a similar thing can be done for your Z. Here's the fitting process for the 350GT http://www.sau.com.au/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=476625
Jetpilot
I looked at doing this on my jdm, according to the usa forums its possible with an uprev, by all accounts, all the wiring is in place, you just need a uk steering wheel and sensors for the pedals, then the uprev map. Mudman
I'd be interested in getting this done did you do any costings ? I have an uprev license
Jetpilot
http://my350z.com/fo...rmarket-bs.html Well that was the one part that put me off, having to pay for an uprev and really wasnt fussed with the extra 20hp or so vs cost, but if you have it already You will need, uk steering wheel with cruise and brake and clutch pedal sensors. Got a good condition uk wheel if anyone wants to give it a whirl. Edited August 10, 2015 by Jetpilot
Mudman
OK I will PM Mark@Abbey as thats where I got the uprev done see if he can do anything Dibs on the wheel until I can get a decision and see how much the sensors are

matt3579
Bringing an old one back as I edited my switches just waiting on the wheel controls to arrive A few questions that have popped up If I change the speedo cluster with a speedo cluster from one that had cruise control will the lights ect work? And finally if I change the Ecu again for an ecu from one with cruise control will i need an uprev to enable it or will it work straight off? Thanks
Jetpilot
Ecu wont work as your key is coded to it, so you will have to get your key reprogrammed.
Mudman
Think you need the Uprev. I am going to get this done at some stage. I now have the pedal sensors and the steering switch but have run out of time this month as of to Singapore GP Thursday then Australia for a few weeks. Might get it done when I get back but probably this is for next years modding list
matt3579
That sucks about the ecu though I was onto a winner Has anyone tried a cruise control speedo cluster once it been fitted to see if the lights work?
Jetpilot
Best just get your ecu mapped, it will release a few hp and remove the throttle limits in the first couple of gears No harm getting a UK cluster either way as you are then reading in mph without the need for chip converters or speed limit defender. matt3579
just seen the lasy post its reading in mph anyway so im guessing it got a converter in it am i right in thinking then that a uk speedo cluster would remover my 120mph limit??? thats all well and good putting a new speedo in but when i get the uprev would they be able to change the mileage back to what it should be or are they not able to do that? thanks again
Jetpilot
No, you will need to find someone who can adjust the mileage. Edited October 3, 2015 by Jetpilot
