leebottrill
I'm going to change over my OEM exhaust very soon. I was about to buy the resonated cobra, but then saw a few people comment about drone. (Which will irritate me) so I was thinking scorpion? Anyone had both? Or know any other good brands for around 500 that aren't to loud at normal speeds? Also does the scorpion sound good when you give it beans? The OEM sounds nice, but is a tad quiet!
sharkmatt
The 350 I've just bought has a resonated Cobra exhaust. I don't find it drones at all at motorway speeds. The only time you get any drone is accelerating in 5th/6th gear but once you drop to cruising it goes quiet.
brillomaster
as above - it drones a bit when you accelerate in 5th or 6th from about 2000rpm, but on motorway cruising its quiet. However, I would say that for the money, a cobra resonated exhaust sounds glorious! must do mod for the zed in my opinion!
daveallen1999
I have the Cobra resonated exhaust myself with Cobra HFC's. Sounds brillant, but a bit loud as I got a bollocking off one of the safety officers at a Elvington track day (103db with him holding the mic right against the exhaust). It does drone a bit on the motorway compared to the OEM exhaust, but I have got used to it, especially when I boot it to go a slip road.

Chris Wiltshire
You won't be disappointed with a cobra and there's really not that much drone.

Dynamic Turtle
Fyi I have berk hfc and a cobra exhaust on my 370, very loud but very epic. Edited August 2, 2015 by Dynamic Turtle
Stutopia
I had the scorpion then replaced it with a cobra resonated, ran both with HFCs, the cobra is appreciably louder and there is a little drone around about 2-3k ish, but I generally pull through that rev range quite quickly. The only time I ever really notice it is when I'm in a 50 in 6th. The Scorpion sounds good on the beans but I personally prefer the Cobra as an all round unit though.
tommoger
I've had an Invidia Gemini system on mine for a month or so now. Sounds great when you hit the gas but barely noticeable in the cruise. Teaming it with some Berk HFCs this weekend to open it up a bit.

Very accurate review of the cobra exhaust imo.
