formatzero
Can anyone tell me if it is worth spending the extra on a 370 gt edition model? Was looking at a 62 plate but wondered if maybe a 2011 gt model was just as good a buy, slightly cheaper of course.
ioneabee
I only have one opinion on this

sipar69
I think the GT Ed is a good choice. Nice wheels, reversing cam and supposedly improved ride over standard GT. If you don't like the stripe, I'm guessing it's not too difficult to remove. Go for it.
formatzero
Cheers, one I'm going to look at has stripe already removed, its also not far from me so that's quite an attraction !
ioneabee
its difficult to tell if it is an actual GT Edition - most dealers (Nissan or other) don't know the difference if it has no stripe I would be cautious that its not just a GT
ukstang
I just bought one this weekend and yes Its pretty difficult trying to identify the GT Edition as t could easily be cloned, you'd think it would have a plaque or found somewhere in the VIN code etc. the wheels were correct, it had he stripes and bose sound system etc. but in the end I found what I was looking for in the service manual, the first few pages are printed out at the dealership and on the second page i found the description and proof I was looking for "GT Edition". Hope this helps.
