370Ad
Did you test drive a LHD model before purchasing dude?
Mikevv
You bugger! I've been struggling to find any Ford dealers who know more than " Oh it's RHD now" lol Envy springs to mind, as my dad is dying to get one. For the cash, and the V8, best <£40k car around IMO. Looks great, sounds great, goes like stink. Keep us posted!!! VIDS WITH SOUNDS ARE NEEDED!
The G Man
F**k you. That is all what's up buddy? Thanks for your good wishes though I REALLY want one but told myself I would never buy a new car for depreciation reasons.... You getting one is just a poke in the eye really Bet Q3 2016 can't come soon enough!! A quick bit of man maths has shown me that with total costs, depreciation, fuel, tax, insurance, maintenance and cleaning products, my Nismo has cost me between £16-19 a day to own. I expect the Mustang to be similar. That's not a lot and is less than you can hire a car on holiday/business with the same amount of spec/power looks. Car buying is not a rational process or science, death is certain, so why not cheer yourself up on that journey Q3 will come quick enough, still having fun with my 'ricer' looks rather aggressive...... I was put off by the wait-list but looking forward to seeing these on the road! Yeah the wait list is quite long, there'll be limited supply for a long time, Flat Rock has huge capacity but they are struggling with the demand in the U.S., so to stop U.S. production to switch to the RHD market is not going to happen that often. Coupled with the not quite inconsiderable work that has to be done to them once they come off the boat in Europe, to meet Euro regs, they'll always be a bit of a trickle. Hopefully, but not a consideration for me, will help keep residuals strong. Scratch that - just spec'd one up at £36k - bargain! Yup! That's the new FULL spec GT price, mine was £1k cheaper, also I've paid the upfront £1k deposit Did you test drive a LHD model before purchasing dude? No, I've not even seen the 2015 S550 in the flesh yet! There are a couple doing the rounds at dealers, but they're Euro spec LHD models. Dealers, whether Ford or not are essentially all the same, pants! There are loads of vids on YouTube, look for 2015 Mustang FRPP Touring by Borla, that's what mine will sound like
370Ad
I can't believe you purchased without even a test drive, brave man! I went to see it at the Mustang specialist in Surrey. Didn't test drive though as I would have got my wallet out otherwise...
The G Man
If I had waited for a test drive, I'd be looking at Q3 2020! There's plenty or reviews on it to convince me that things will pan out for me. I've read and watched just about everything I can get my hands on as well. thetranquilbass
Good choice George, I shall be following the same route although opting for the black as was the standout colour for me when seeing them in the flesh. Was fortunate enough to have a test drive of both the manual and auto versions when over in the US tail end of May/beginning of June and that made my mind up there and then. Have not quite pulled the trigger on deposit yet but suspect it will be paid within the next month or so if indeed any of the dealers can share some additional info, last I heard was that it would be tail end of Q2 before they hit our shores but your info may be more recent. sipar69
I think I prefer the Nismo George (shut up Ekona ) but really pleased for you if it's the car you've set your heart on. You'll obviously be the envy of a good few folks on here. Lovely colour too. Shame you have to wait for so long for it though. Look forward to seeing the pics and reading your review Edited July 29, 2015 by sipar69
The G Man
Chris, the dealers know f*ck all mate, they are purely there to process the admin. I'd be surprised to see any in the UK before October, more likely end of October. I've been emailed by Ford (not the dealer) confirming my order for 2016. You might struggle to have an order accepted for Q2 2016, don't know for sure though. Evans Halshaw, Glasgow is where mine was ordered, People's in Edinburgh are the other closest Mustang 'dealer', think there maybe one in either Inverness or Aberdeen as well. A black car mate, get prepped for the OCD that comes with it . Will look 'Stangtastic though

As I've said, it's not a certainty that I'll sell my Nismo, it is a certainty though that I'll get a Mustang I love my Nismo, didn't know I wanted a Mustang until a few months ago
sipar69
Be great if you get to keep em both. Pretty cool stable of cars you'll have!
Stutopia
Even without a test drive, if you don't like it, with demand as it appears to be, you can probably sell it for a profit after a month anyway
Ekona
It's a RWD V8 coupe. How bad can it possibly be?!

captain
Great choice. Seriously considering this exact option for my next car. Unfortunately can't get the PP here in Dubai, just the 5.0 GT Premium. Might have to wait for the GT350 which should be here soon.
The G Man
GT 350 and 350 R aren't planned for the UK yet, but when they come they'll be in the GTR price range, so they'll need to be good! No doubt about it, they're different. On a brighter note my FRPP Touring by Borla arrived last week I'm going to probably stick with FRPP mods, although Steeda and Roush offer some excellent packages. Ford are apparently bringing out a factory tune to compliment the FRPP range. Looking at this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Raceskinz-2015-Ford-Mustang-Stripe-Kit-RS50-JARGON-TM-Edition/121529969778?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D32831%26meid%3D097b4e90ffe34e7e893bd947f229efef%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D121529969778 for a graphics kit, love the look. The G Man
Will, if that comes to the UK in RHD, it'll be the last car I'll buy, simply looks like an awesome piece of nasty, mofo, kick you in the goolies piece of Pony, that is my ultimate want in life My puny GT will have to suffice for a wee while, only 10 months left to wait
Adrian@TORQEN
This looks rather tasty http://jalopnik.com/...ford-1727126886 So there are cons... not just pros None of this is to say the 350R is without faults, but they are minor in comparison. The seating position isn’t ideal. No matter how much I fiddled with it either the steering wheel was too far away or the pedals were. In part, that feeling was caused by a clutch pedal throw that felt like you were stopping at the radiator and not the firewall. The engagement of the clutch is very short for the length of throw, meaning that its a bit of a struggle to get away from traffic lights cleanly. Shifting was also not perfect, as the Tremec gearbox was on the notchy side making race-quick 3-4 shifts problematic. Fortunately, with an engine that pulls hard from 3,500 RPM all the way to red line, shifting is more of an option than a requirement a fair portion of the time. Finally, the Brembo brakes, while producing massive stopping power, were inconsistent. One corner you’d have normal pedal effort the next it would be hard briefly before dropping to normal effort. This most likely isn’t the brakes themselves but more likely the brake booster coping with the engines high RPM’s.
