SteveW
As of today my car has the ESP and TC lights coming on but not the ABS light. The first time it happened the car started applying the brakes on one or two wheels whilst the ESP light flashed, then the fault went away. A little later I was driving and both the ESP and TC lights came on. Now every time I drive they come on even if I turn the ESP off before I start. I'm guessing one of the sensors has failed but not sure how to start finding which one - is there an easy way or procedure to identify which one it is? Edit- been searching for a while and have now found a thread about brake fluid level. That has surprised me so I'll check that first.... Thanks Edited July 18, 2015 by SteveW
SteveW
Brake fluid topped up, short test drive and no lights.... Will see what happens as the day progresses.
SteveW
Well since fluid topped up no issues. Can't believe that fixed it!!!! Very odd....
HEADPHONES
Glad it was a simple fix. These simple fixes never work for me. My dash lights were from a failing brake pedal switch. Not long ago my airbag light came on coz of the sensor behind the steering wheel whereas normally its just a wiggle of the connectors under the seat. Oh well......still small niggles in the grand scale of things and insignificant compared to the joy the Zed brings
