  1. Yours are newer than mine then. Here is what mine looks like, wheels not clean but you can see were the water is following the machined lines.
  2. How long you had yours.
  3. Yeah i have paid £50 in the past for curbed wheels. But i was told they need re-turning to get the polished effect,so they need to be sent off. There is no paint on the Nismo rims its done by a lathe then laquered.
  4. Yeah front drivers side, marked on polished lip and around the centre cap.
  5. Trouble is Phil never sent me a reciept with the wheels,if i had a reciept Nissan might have been able to help. They suggested getting intouch with Nismo.I might have to bite the bullet and get them re-turned at a cost of £200 for one wheel. Cant believe its only one wheel though, all the rest are spotless.

    Marked Nismos

While cleaning my car the other day i noticed white marks on the polished rim.Looks like water has got under the laquer and started to corrode the wheel surface. These wheels are less than 12 months old and have been kept spotless through winter.I also sealed them before fitting and twice over winter. I have had a refurbisher out to have a look and he told me they need re turning and laquering. As ESR are no more who could i contact about getting this done.Surely they must be come with some sort of warranty from Nismo.
  7. I think your right Stew, must be the light.

  10. I have read on previous threads that they can be manually adjusted with a long screwdriver. They should be about number plate height I think.
  11. Yes. Buying a new one now with the exchange rate as it is now is going to be expensive. So someone is going to get a good deal.
  12. reminds me when someone I know got given a cup at hospital and the nurse said we need a sample to run some tests, he looked at her wierd and she went you know... you go to the toilet in this as we need to run some tests, he went of came back and the look on her face.... number 2 my sides hurt so much I cried in pain laughing, was one of the funniest days of my life, the nurse put her face in her hands and was speechless, he looked at me as Im still rolling from one end of the unit to the other trying not to wet myself He aint been back since, not the brightest bulb I just rolled off the couch reading that.

  17. I take it the 1k was a replacement from the dealers.Remember the Bose unit is really made by Clarion and is worth nowhere near that.Buy a decent double din unit for less than half of the cost from the dealers and it will be iPod ready.
  18. That's a point Rob,my bonnet goes a lot higher now than it did when I used the prop.
