Trust me mate,you would be better using them as summer wheels only.I have a set on mine,they are just over 12 months old and one of the front wheels is marked were water has got under the laquer. What have you done with your original wheels? As people have said put a good sealant on them before fitting them.Buy yoursef a good wheel brush,I have the EZ Detail brush it will clean to the back of the rim.As for tyre dressing Blackfire is good but not cheap,it lasts ages.Also you need a good no acidic wheel cleaner like Billberry. Do all that and you should be fine,having said that I have and still have a marked alloy.

I did mine on my own and i am not the biggest of blokes. Set of mole grips on the shaft under the gear surround and a set of grips on the gear knob.Put a towel between both sets of grips stop them marking. It does take quite a few turns to get it off though.

I think it was just an opportunist thief trying car doors and he got lucky with mine.

Had a bit of a DOH moment thurs night. Forgot to lock my car,i had been cleaning the engine bay and forgot all about it. Anyway Friday unlocked the car,well at least i thought i had got in and everthing seemed normal started it up and my headunit went to radio which is unusual as the ipod should play.Looked in the cubby only to find my ipod missing,now this is the strange thing my Tomtom was in there aswell and thats still there.They have took my satnav out removed the ipod and put the satnav back and closed the cubby then closed the door. Cheeky little feckers. Upside no damage was done,but now i double check i have locked it and removed my new ipod.
