I did a group buy for these about 2 months ago,got them from Adam at Z1 Performance.

5zigen pro racer exhaust and can filter.Paul seemed to think the filter will be losing me power as it's getting hot,plus it's a muggy day today. Car is a 06 plate with revup engine.

Just got back from RS Tuning.Good news my ECU dumped and is mappable,apparantley mine has the GEN2 ecu fitted. Paul put the car on the rollers to see what it was doing,it gave 280bhp at the fly which is down on the official figure Nissan quote.He seems to think that there are gains to be had from mapping,i am going to get the lower plenum from Sunset then have it mapped.Hopefully get to 300bhp,but its a better torque curve i am after.

Depends on how much you want to pay mate.I use Swissvax Best of Show,but at £120 a tub it is expensive.I also use Blackfire Midnight Sun which is also very good.

Really sorry to hear this Steve,but if I had wrote mine off I would not want it back. At least they did not drag their feet getting an engineer out.If you get half your money back off your mods,you will be back in a Zed in no time. Pm me your price on the lower plenum you have for sale. And no I am not a vulture.

Why would you ruin such nice cars,then again I suppose they are Yanks,no taste.

As has been said above I had a new shape civic type r and I had to drive it like I was racing everybody. The Zed is a completly different animal,it will pull in any gear and will tackle motorways effortlessly.It won't punch you in the back as a turbo car will but you don't have to rev the knackers off it either.

They say it smells like it though.

Unfortunatley Iain did not have his normal camera with him,he had to use the one on his phone that's why the pics are a bit blurry. I have used Iain a few times now and can't fault his work.

I did help with the wax application though Martin,but he does do a good job.I will be having a go myself soon,when I get my polisher for my birthday.

You could say that Mits,Iain has access to a 26,000sqft warehouse when the weather isn't too clever.

Just posting some pics of when i had the car detailed last Friday before the Wales run.I booked the car in to remove some bad swirling on the front wings where the mechanics who fitted the engine bling had wiped it down after working on it.Also there were some bad buffer trails on the boot lid under the rear spolier,just cant trust garages or bodyshops.Just a shame it didn't stay like this for long.All work carried out by Iain Brown of http://www.finerdetails.co.uk/
