  3. Yeah was you rich Well anyway i have had a good look at the dampers and see no way of releasing gas...But if the gas was put in there...there has to be a way to get it out??
  4. I heard that you can soften the boot dampers to make them not as strong. Is this possible? is so how does one go about doing such thing? At the moment i am manually opening my carbon boot as the dampers are just too strong and push my boot up when closed. If there is no way of doing it then i will have to take the plunge and buy some ones specific to carbon boots

  8. I pulled up to my local shops right infront of a group of kids who stopped what they were doing and just starred at my car...My girlfriend stayed in the car whilst i went into the outdoor. On my return one of the lads said "nice car mate"i said thanks.....So i got into my car with my girlfriend p!ssing herself laughing. I ask whats so funny.......Whilst i was in the out door one of the kids said to his mates...."I'm just going to go over there and come all over his car" Apparantley the other kids agreed with him Its a good job i wasn't long in the outdoor otherwise things could of gotten messy!!!!

  15. Leicester isn't going to know what hit it!!!!
  16. Remember that SRR was with rollers and Abbey uses a hub dyno, so it's expected to show different figures. If I read the past threads right, the manner of strapping down also plays a factor, so if SRR did strap down tight, then lower figures would read as the car cannot "climb" the rollers. Yeah i know matey just puts things into perspective regarding my car too and also not to take rolling roads are a true output of your cars power
  17. 288 at SRR.......Things dont add up with that place
  18. Yeah it was the complete kit to get you sorted I will see if i can dig up the quote
  19. This guy must be a complete stroker!!!!
  20. I just signed up as it looks like a great service But who is at the address that i have been given as my us delivery address? Also would i be able to buy from ebay.com and use this service? I take it i would need to assign the given address to my paypal account?
  21. Just remember ambiant temps can play a part but the varience will be slight!! Also if allowed perhaps a "bung in bung out" run to prove that free flowing and less restricted is better? Good point
  22. I called thor racing this morning and they charge £60 + vat for a power run and print out. Having spoken to the chap on the phone there is a lot more work involved with hub dyno's and that they give pretty accurate power outputs. They give price breaks at 8 and 16 people Going to go down next week as its only 9 miles from my house to get an accurate bhp and torque reading No more of this silly rolling road nonsense for me
  23. I have found a place near me which have a dynapack hub-mounted dyno. I have been reading up about the accuracy compared to rolling roads these win hands down. No tyre slipping and not having to worry about how tight straps are this is the way to go for me. if anyone is interested http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Rollilng_Road_Overview-270.asp based in kenilworth.
  24. A very good team indeed Have had my coilerovers and discs fitted by andy and he is a top man and is very thorough with his work. Definatley recommended if your local or even if your prepared to travel as you are going to get good service
