  7. Where is the best place to get an accurate temperature reading in real time? From the obd2 port?
  8. EVO-R carbon is normally quite good. They have been around for ages. Always found that the guages dont point the right way in those mounts though and I'm sure the wheel will block most of your view of them Also looks too tacked on....atleast with my stock gauge replacements its not blatantly in your face that im running something a bit special However i did think about getting a chrome silver supercharged badge for the back and some numbers from halfords to show my bhp output.......

  12. Well i dont envy you Just waiting on the fuel rails to come on tuesday and i can then get the top of the engine back on Just turning that key for the first time is going to be nerve racking!! My dad says i have to push the car out of the garage and as far away from the house as possible
  13. Felt alot better today so i decided to get some more jobs out the way. I mounted my Utec ecu, fitted my centre console and fitted the main belt for the s/c..Also rerouted some piping. It doesn't seem alot but these little jobs take along time when your on your own
  14. Will probably set something later on for them...if i can be arsed. Yeah i got a heater in there but i got hot and cold fever so its no good
  15. Been a slow day.....down with the sickness and my garage is too fricken cold.... Have successfully modded my gauges into my stock gauge pod. Using a boost gauge and the AEM uego Wideband AFR gauge and i have managed to retain my stock computer with some hackery

  19. So if this is the case and when live mapping does became available are you saying you'd recommend this over piggy back ecu's? if this is the case then i could shift the utec and make a bit of money....
  20. I actually have a uprev flash on my ecu....but i will be running a utec with my S/C...From what i have read running uprev solely for F/I is not advisable due to the limitations of the stock ecu
