:scare::scare: Bargin i say if its true!!! Kind of comforting to see those miles because if my z lasts that long i will be very very happy!! But would be worth knowing the history of the car to what has been repalced and when.

Hehehe there was another reason for changing them.....I took a dirty big scratch out of the bumper when removing the original ones....and these badges cover it up

Taken off my Satin black badges and replaced them for these Much better and suits the Gunmetal more Also if you notice i have replaced the silver screws for black ones on my vents...... hehehe Also my old satin badges are still up for sale. Will take £20 for the pair

Yes this is the way to go....even if you pay it on a credit card then pay it off in lump sums every month .Will save alot more money than the monthly installments from isurance companies

yeah cheap all round!around £500 4 seats doesnt matter bout petrol or diesel. just need cheap and reliable. also dont care about performance

I dont think so...they are in the exact same place as the pic posted by dcash5

when they are extended they are roughly about 12Inches. They do not extend further so the bonnet does not lift anymore

The holes i have gone into are pretty much the only ones in the area that are available....i will try and get some clearer pics

I received a set of these of ebay and having installed them i am getting this: As you can see the bonnet doesnt fully lift up. Is this a problem with the struts being too short or is there something i need to do to make them extend even more. These were advertised as for a 350z so wondering if its something wrong im doing[/img]

Burning smell in an 05 with 10k on the clock????

O right thanks for that put my mind at ease a little. Not sure it worth mentioning this but i have just had a look under the bonnet and ontop of the plenum there are some black rubbery spots that look burnt that just come off....maybe something may have been in my engine bay thus burning hence the smell?? hope so -

Well it seems normal too me and doesnt feel any different to how it was when i first had it -
So the last few days iv'e noticed a burning of rubber smell in the cabin. Not all the time just occasionally. i have smelt it 3 times in 5 days.... Is it the clutch? Warranty issue? if it is the clutch should i buy an up-rated clutch? Anyone had this issue? I have searched but wanting a newer opinion plus my car has only done just over 10,000 miles!!! ta

I understood these were controversial before undertaking the work....Now they are in and im getting black headed screws today i stand by my decision on installing them. It would be boring if we all did the same mods dont you think?????
