  1. Few pictures of my PCV delete. I chose to run the pipes over the back of the gearbox rather than round the front of the engine. As I’m going all white under the bonnet I didn’t want oil mist getting everything dirty.
  2. Couple of oil gallery pics I took.
  3. Made up some breather lines for the PCV Delete today. Just waiting on some AN10 fitting for the cam covers and I’ll get all of this put together.
  4. Engine wise, I want to supercharge the car next year, however, I want all the necessary stuff done before I do it. So first things first, the infamous oil gallery gaskets. I stripped all the front off the car but found a lot of bolts were seized and snapped off. Luckily, I cot them all out with Mole grips once everything was stripped. The only pain was one of the AC bolts wouldn’t budge and the bolt head rounded so had to be cut off. What made it worse is the pump then wouldn’t slide over the stud so I had to cut the pump off then weld a bit onto the stud and get it out that way. I’m really not impressed with the bolt quality so I’ll be replacing everything with stainless bolts. made some decent progress over the last week. Gaskets are done, although there was nothing wrong with the ones I took out but I’m sure they’d need changing at some point so I guess it’s future proofing. im going to fit an external oil cooler so I’ve removed the OEM modine and also the water lines together with the throttle body water lines as there just not needed. Which I was on tidying up the bay, I’ve also removed evap lines for the fuel tank vent on the back of the engine too. It’s the same system as my GTR and most people remove them on there so can’t hurt. Finally I’ve started a full PCV delete. I’ve stripped it all out and ordered all the parts to make my own kit. all the covers and pipes I’ve removed have gone to the powder coasters to be coated white.
  5. Bonnet and boot dampers fitted and a GTR start button. 😁
  6. Put a reverse camera in there. Probably one of the best decisions I’ve made with the car, simply because I can’t see a thing out the back. I do have an issue with it however, it seems to be back to
  7. For some reason the pics have landed upside down. If an admin could sort that I’d be greatful 😁
  8. Been a while since I updated this. The work hasn’t really stopped. I’m a lover of good music so fitted a full new sound system. Gone for a full sound deaden of the boot and doors. That made a huge difference on its own. I then fitted audison components in the front, 2x Rockford Fosgate 12” subs in the boot all powered by an Audison Forza digital amplifier.

    Diff brace

Hey everyone. Do any if you have experience with running a diff brace. If so what are the benefits of fitting one of these? thanks John
  10. Hey everyone when I bought my 370z the plastic beep was broken on my fuel cap. Anyone got one for sale? cheers john
  11. Does anyone have the pin outs diagram for the Nav screen please. cheers john
  12. Brace, wiring covers a PAS res bracket all refitted after a fresh coat of white powder.
  13. All blasted, ready to prime and paint
  14. And after a few hours cleaning and I bit of a rewrite.
  15. This is how it looked after I removed the brace. Inner wings are filthy.
  16. There’s a few things gone on recently. After finding a weeping brake line I decided to change all of them for braided lines. I flushed the system and filled it with 5.1 fluid. Front discs and pads changed and also new caliper pins and clips. replaced both front drop links. fitted some Kanju bonnet and boot struts. I must admit, I’m impressed with the rear as the assisting springs open the boot from pressing the button with out lifting it. the bonnet dampers were a little big of a pain. Due to the pedestrian popper hinges I had to dress back the plug welds on the hinge to get the dampers to fit. After that, it was a straight install and they work great. next came the mess in the engine bay. The previous owner clearly never cleaned bothered cleaning it. I ended up using G3 to take all the grime off. Once that was done, I did a bit of a wire tuck on the ugly cabling that came across the strut towers. It looks a world better now. Twken the strut brace off and a couple of other brackets to go into work for a fresh powder coat in white and I’ll reassemble it all. I’ll post some pics in a bit 😁
  17. Replaced the boot popper springs today. Nice easy job. Got the new items from openTop. You can see by the pictures they are a little longer and the springs are stiffer than the worn OEM units. It’s now quite a definite aggressive pop which I like
  18. Thanks Andy. Couple of other parts on the way. I’ve ordered a couple of new front drop links as there seems to be a slight knock on the front and I’ve also ordered a universal folding mirror module so they close when the alarm is activated. fitted a new 370Z badge on the rear from Tarmac sports as the one on the car was pretty @*!# to say the least.
  19. Took a little shot of my 2 babies together 💪🏽
  20. Had an issue with the boot popping correctly. Not wanting to do the penny trick, I ordered a new set of updated springs and removed the weight from the boot. Pops nice now and don’t have to lift it to get the lock to disengage. next step is updated boot struts. I’d like the kid to open itself without lifting it.
