My 13 year old is very good at that stuff. I watched for a couple of minutes and WOW. I will show him that in the morning.

I passed that same garage in the week and noticed that z in orange with the bumper off down by the netham, st george's way. I used to own a Vectra GSi 3.2 and a member on the vauxhall forum used to work at that same paint shop and recommends them highly.

Every time i come across a z that has a turbo or supercharger it really gets me thinking about a conversion. I would love a little more poke out of mine.

I have the same spec car ie colour, GT pack, year, miles apart from the rays(six spoke 18"s). I bought in mid april and i paid £16750 and i was happy with that but yours does seem a good buy for someone.

I take it the ESP didnt kick in (or you had it switched off).

 

From the 12 months I have had my car I find the back end quiet unpredictable. The ESP kicks in too soon when the roads are dry and very often too late (or never!) when the roads are wet (especially when leaving roundabouts).

 

Still wouldn't change the Z for anything else!

Off the lights if i am in a hurry i will turn the ESP off BUT never when driving a little quick on twisty bends especially in the wet, never.

Alot of peeps replacing the bose unit but i think they do not sound that bad imo i will be keeping mine until it play's up.

I got a set for my Vectra last year and the bolts are part of the unit and the nuts will come to, would hope this should be the case for the Z to.

I've had this problem for a while now. £25+vat is not that bad a price if they need replacing

I am no machanic but they are very easy to change and i will do my own. I replaced some drop links on my Vectra 3.2 Gsi and they only cost £13 each and they were 3 times longer

Again i am very impressed with the finish. Top job

In the back doors are black handles confused.com

does that make the glass go up and down

I managed to take the wheels off and spray some grease inside off the drop links. One of them moved very easily but the other one was very stiff. I will give it a few days and see if the noise stops.

I did phone the stealers for a price on the links and they come up at £25 +vat each so lets hope the creaks go away.

Lets hope that is the problem, does sound like it to me though. I will get the car in at the local garage and fingers crossed it is a simple and quick job.

I have only had this creaking noise since the hot weather started last week approx..

I have looked in other post's reference clicking axles but mind only creaks when going in and out of my drive on nearly full lock(slight hill) not on the straight. Could this be a dodgy spring or shock or could this be the start of the axle haunting me and become worse. It does it going forwards and backwards ???

Anyone with any clues
