  2. I've driven a TTRS on track and although it's a great car I prefer the 350Z for it's handling characteristics. I'd guess that the TTRS is the best handling TT that Audi have marketed so far and it's great fun but was too neutral in the corners for my taste. I'd guess lesser TT's would display similar or worse (ie understeer) characteristics. The Audi will be a nicer environment to sit in but the Zed will put a smile on your face if you're a keen driver A big lump in the front of a FWD car isn't usually a nice recipe.......

  4. I've picked up exactly 63 stonechips on the bumper and bonnet this year. Most are between .01 and .8mm but there are 7 bigger than 1.0mm and 3 of these are over 3mm. What you have to do is analyse how and where you drive and take a view on how much stick the Nissan paint is going to take
  5. It'd be interesting to test standard and lightweight ones back to back, I reckon the placebo effect would kick in though - my car is so much quicker when it's clean
  6. It looks like a well kitted car, with the tonneau cover etc etc. The CF and chrome bits have the potential to look gash, although that's a subjective taste thing. I'm dubious about the ability to notice the driving difference from lightweight wheel nuts mind

    The RE050's and RE040's are very different tyres - you want the RE050's to gt the most out of the car....

  13. I know what it is! It's that sarcastic anti-ditchfinder-tyre dwarf who resides in your dashboard shouting at you - the noise is actually 'chump chump chump'! On the other hand, if it isn't a wheel bearing or tyre bulge it might be a wheel arch liner?
  14. Scorpion cat-backs are well received on here, I fitted one last year and am really happy with it - not noisy, but frees up the V6 to sound like it should have from the factory
  15. Jeez that must have been a painful year! I used my wife's 1.4d 106 for a few months and hated pretty much every minute. The soggy suspension was fun at times though.....
  16. I'd do it - strictly speaking though, Nissan don't specify that it NEEDS changing at any point. I changed mine at 70K along with the diff oil

  20. I can recommend DMS too, alignment for OEM suspension is £80 (+VAT) with them at the mo. Knowing their attention to detail i'm sure they will set you up perfectly
