  2. I'm having issues on the site with some (not all) images/videos. Some show and some don't, any ideas? I've enabled images in IE and changed the security settings to default....

    Come on Williams, Dave's waiting!
  4. I can't remember the schedule for coolant but it might be worth you checking that and brake fluid should be changed every 2 years Where are you based? People can recommend a good independent close to you....

You won't be disappointed, you should know in advance though that the images Dave comes up with might not be an exact representation. It's always hard to match lighting conditions colours etc

    Boot carpet

Definitely avoid non-genuine mats, I picked up a used luxury OEM boot mat in excellent condition for £35 delivered on ebay
  7. Whether he looks cool or not he seems to be having a ball Let's face it, if you could you would

Pics or weblinks of the car and spoiler would be helpful
  9. The sound engineers on the floor below us did the engine sounds for the Gorillaz tune, Stylo. I love this video, cool tune, cool animation and a surprise appearance from Bruce Willis....
  10. I'm sure you'll have fun doing this and do a cracking job, but for the time, effort and cost I think I would start with something like a 205/Golf GTi
  11. ....You spend geting over 1000 notes on it (Various Superpro bushes, front and rear drop links, front pads and discs, MOT, P1 service...) despite the fact you know you'll be selling it within a couple of months I'm pleased I did it all as it now steers like a dream, but I should have saved some cash using OEM bushes
  12. Let's hope they're a hit! I want to pick some up tonight ideally so all feedback is appreciated

    remote

I tried to reprogramme my key and had trouble, it may have been my own stupidity Anyhoo I was in a Dealership in Bromley picking up a locking wheel nut and asked the GT-R tech about it. Happily for me he grabbed the key, performed a few Jedi finger presses and handed me a working key FOC. Nice to be able to share a good story about a main dealer for a change
  14. My exhaust is knocking on a cross member under the car (not the diff) which is down to worn exhaust hanger rubbers. I'm thinking of getting these Halfrauds Powerflex items, has anyone on here used them and were there any issues? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165660 Are this an easy DIY?
  15. I haven't heard the Cobra but I have the Scorpion cat-back. I'd describe it as how the OEM exhaust should have sounded - a tasteful 'warble' which sounds great when you give it some. The tiny Cobra back-box looks a bit sh*t if you ask me If you're keeping the car for awhile don't stay OEM - it sounds rubbish and WILL fail in the usual place again!
  16. It all depends how you value your time Zugara, I like to get stuck in every now and again doing brakes and stuff, but for the best part I'd rather pay someone else to do it

    Toyota FT 86

I like it, well actually I like the idea of it. Good to see a manufacturer going against the grain of over-tyring in favour of a bit of oversteer. EVO mag liked it, they preferred the softer setup of the Toyota over the Scoob but said both lacked power to overcome traction. So a bit of an own goal really considering the design strategy. I too sat in one at Goodwood, the seating position was excellent with the gearstick in a good position (the 350's is a bit too far back for me, but then I am a giant). The interior quality is awful though and the £25k asking price is ridiculous, I don't see them selling many until it has more power.
  18. Like Ekona it was a tick box exercise for me ; RWD - check Coupe - check Great handling, braking, performance etc - check Great engine - check Styling? Er, wasn't convinced but I love it now. The strange thing was that I never liked Jap cars so the result was a bit unexpected, I always found them too cheap (plastics etc) and souless. I still think they're a bit flimsy, but souless? Hell no, the 350Z has serious soul I'll be gutted to see mine go, which it will be soon
  19. I'm liking your velocity/shatsplatter analysis MacW I did wonder what could cause that much mess, my money is on a gull. Or maybe a tight formation of simultaneously defecating starlings
  20. Halfway through waxing the car on saturday it rained, as usually seems to happen to me lately. Then, after another 2 hours re-doing the morning's work this happened!!! I'm not kidding when I say it was all over every panel Isn't it supposed to be lucky to be sh*t on? Note to Spursmaddave - no pics please
  21. Nice pics Coldel, that 250 GTO is gorgeous I went to the Moving Motor Show on the thursday, it's a great format compared to the disaster that the British Motor show became but it was a bit dull compared to the Friday/Sat/Sun FoS days. At least it was comparatively quiet and easy to get a good look at the cars. Anyhoo, here's a few camera 'phone pics.....
  22. Humungous amounts of win! Does that badboy have a mechanical LSD?
  23. That's just sacrilage, people should be vetted to ensure that they can drive 'appropriately' prior to buying something like a 350Z

    Big rears

Is that your old man? It looks like he's just open the 'boot' and is trying to work out why there's an engine in there Nice 'plate too
  25. I wouldn't be seen dead in an RS, it's another one of those cars that I'd love to take out for a thraping but couldn't own, Evo's and fast Scoobs are also on that list. I'm not really a car snob but image over legendary performance wins for me here - they're proper porcupine joke cars I would however run a Mountune ST as a second car quite happily......
