  1. It's a fantastic feeling mate. Iv had a skyline for a while but even tho it has back seats it will be a bit too loud for the little one. Sold my wifes Audi A3 3dr for a Mazda 3 sport saloon. Much more practical My key selling point of a V8 to my better half is that it'll 'sooth' the little one to sleep
  2. Excellent, thanks for the info guys. I always fancied a go in the Focus due to it's reputation as a good steer, although I'm not sure how representive a 14 year old one with 115K on the clock will be I'll throw it around once I know it isn't going to fall apart on me
  3. Octet, what is this feeble info output, we expect MORE, MORE I tell you. Where are the specs sheets and photo's and data and words and hyperbole and other general bumf? Joking by the way - as a great man once said, '"Less is more". What we actually need is less mate, lots less
  4. We bought a Focus banger last night, it's a 1998 1.8 Zetec. It's seems pretty solid apart needing a wheel bearing and having a bit of a dodgy boot lock It's in metallic State Blue and cost 600 notes I'm looking forward to giving the bodywork some love as it's covered in scratches and is pretty dull. Does anyone have much experience of Focii? It needs a service which I reckon I'll DIY and might stick a K&N filter in. I'm not going to spend much dollar on it as we'll only run it for a few months until we buy a proper car.
  5. Congrats, I know how you feel, our Zed's up for sale and we'll have a bundle of joy to look after in a few weeks What car did you get for a family wagon?
  6. Berlin is a good call, I went there for my stag and it was awesome. It has a pretty laid back, anything goes vibe. Lots of cool bars of course, many of them are hidden away and look like normal terraced town house - these were some of the coolest bars we went to as they had great DJ's. I'd recommend 'Gold' bar for the usual *ahem* evening entertainment We stayed in a flat which slept about 8 I think, if you're interested I'll did out the details for you, it had a nice bar downstairs called 'Fire Bar' or something which was handy. On a more sombre note the war museums, Reichtag, Checkpoint Charlie etc are interesting if you're into a bit of history. The 'Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe' is also worth seeing. The downside of my stag-do was bouncing around Berlin dressed as a gay YMCA biker, but I guess it could have been worse
  7. Very cool, Common sense 1 - Numpty 0 I'm going to try out the captain's hat filter in this tutorial http://www.photoshoptroll.com/how-can-i ... is-effect/
  8. Pretty much the same now applies for Android fans though. They'll slaughter anything that has an OS that's user friendly and hardware that's machined perfectly to the nth degree. Truth is both (well, all three is you count Win8) platforms have their pros and cons. Apple is easier to use, more stable and lag-free, but Android offers far more in terms of options and updates, and has more freedom. Horses for courses. The thing with Apple is that the users buy into it because it's 'cool' OK, it works well and it's intuitive, but lots of products do that. Android is not supposed to be cool, the key selling point is that it isn't an Apple product and it does things just about as well. I mean, that Alien logo thing isn't cool is it? I will always buy the best value for money product out there and may well own an iphone if Apple didn't insist on ripping you a new bum-hole for the 'priveledge' of owning their latest fad. Their stuff is nigh on impossible to barter on with the mobile phone retailers. Actually, I might be proved wrong on that one because I haven't checked the deals on the iphone 5, I doubt it though. It always amazes how the fanboys and girls get so excited about new Apple products
  9. After cycling through a gazillion images I found a cool one - putting James Cordon onstage to talk about Porsches was a genious move, even though they're showing them on some w*nky 'phone
  10. Sad news. Few people are dedicated / talented enough to make a real difference in this world and Sid and his family can be proud that he contributed so much during his lifetime. If there is such thing as an afterlife hopefully he's out fishing with Senna
  11. The 'arty' shots and dark colour of the car don't make it very easy to actually see the kit
  12. 21 mpg isnt that far off what it should be and if you're labouring the engine too much it you can end up using more juice than you would at optimal revs. You should achieve 24 or 25 mpg if aren't tear-arsing around everywhere though. If you're that worried you should take it into a trusted Zed specialist for a check-up - where are you based? I'm sure you don't need telling that the 350Z will never be 'economical'
  13. Are these bad boys heavy?
  14. Thanks AK, although I'm over the moon with my reason for selling I'm going to be really sorry to see the car go
  15. Thamks for the heads up gangzoom, It's a nice looking car but I'm after a Touring
  16. Hi Ersen.o, I'm in Bromley North. Are you sure you don't want to buy some tyres?
  17. Hi Carsten, amstrange1 has first dibs on these and is currently arranging payment - if for any reason it falls through I'll give you a shout. By the way, you can easily fit 4 rims in your Zed - in fact you can get 4 rims in with tyres on 2 go in the boot and 2 on the passenger seat
  18. Cool name, would love to know where they got the inspiration for it
  19. I sometimes think that people take photoshop skills for granted when requesting mock-ups and sometimes they're even a little bit pointless. But since your particular request seems like a worthwhile one, I'm happy to oblige....
  20. I like the look of this car as it is, I p'shopped the green in just for you. I'm not a fan of cannards though I also like the look of the body coloured splitter.....

    Now this is a garage

That white sofa would get grubby pretty quickly, not to mention the slight carbon monoxide issue What you need is a car lift so you can switch her off before hoisting her into you living room
