  1. Just remember to get some new 'O-Rings' before you start and don't over tighten the screws holding the senders in. They can't take much torque, I know as stripped one. Luckily the seal is holding.....phew!!! Zmanalex can supply the 'O'-Rings so drop him a PM. Potentially others can also but I used Alex and I don't know names of others.
  2. Definitely crickey! Seem to recall that was Pikes Peak in about August of this year. Crazy!
  3. Hi from another West Yorkshire member. Black 350 around Huddersfield.
  4. Awesome find! Plan on making my own but struggling to find anywhere I can get Lime Green 4 gauge cable. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've googled repeatedly under different searches and eBayed but can't find any. I have managed to find some manky green but no lime
  5. Never liked the coverage on sky. Anthony Davidson comes across as a tit, he knows his stuff but my god... Georgie Thomson fit but just acts dumb the whole time. Damon Hill, Jonny Herbert not good presenters which brings me round to the lead guy who is the absolute worst of the bunch. Give me Eddie, David and Jake any day.
  6. Glad you got sorted it mate. Hope you get many more years service out of it.
  7. Always liked the Nismo graphic too. A nice subtle touch
  8. I'm done now last day was today. Back on Jan the 2nd! Awesome!
  9. Meh, not a fan of Porsches either. 1) everyone has one. 2) they all look incredibly similar. 3) they just look too 'normal' If I could afford one I'd buy lots of other things before a Porsche. I do think the 911 sounds great though.
  10. Just goes to show though the zed isn't bad on juice on a run. My GF's 1.2 106 would only manage 45 mpg on the motorway. So not bad at all. I'd rather take the zed lol.

    W brace

Some of mine were seized last time it came off and snap so be careful
  12. For them to work the bottle needs to be above the level required and the lights need to be on dipped or main beam. They won't work if only on sidelights. Then you either press the button or pull the stalk so the washer jets spray. Either method should activate the headlight washers.
  13. It's worth noting they only work when there is enough fluid in the washer bottle. They stop working before the windscreen washer jets do I think it's about 1/3rd full. Make sure you fill it right up to test them. The button will only work when your headlights are on dipped on main beam. It's not a toggle button either it's a press one.
  14. Mine is the same gone from average of 21mpg per tank to about 18 mpg. Mostly caused by waiting for the car to defrost in the morning. I've also noticed my car is idling a bit higher when the engines warm circa 1000rpm instead of usual 750rpm.
  15. Gutted! I saw one mega cheap a few weeks back and thought the Weldina was a cheap 'Nismo' copy. I've been a member long enough to know better.
  16. Had a bike in the back there is a pic floating round in another thread somewhere. Also had 4 wheels with tyres, a tool box, Jack, jack stands and helmet.
  17. Bit of an odd one this but recently the front end has developed a single clunk noise when sometimes turning full lock and close to full lock at slow speeds. For example pulling out of a parking space or when I get to work I'll drive into one space then reverse back into the one opposite. As you straighten the wheels to reverse the clunk occasionally rears its head. It can be felt through the steering wheel. Any thoughts? Also the rear passenger side has developed a hollow sounding clunk on rough surfaces. I'm guessing a bush? Which would be the prime candidates? Thanks Steve
  18. Not sure mate but I wouldn't have thought much. It's only 6 nuts to undo. Labour maybe £30 plus new gaskets.
  19. If the bolts come undone yes. If not prepare for lots of anger, swearing and ultimately taking an angle grinder to it all. Make sure you use decent six sided sockets on the nuts to prevent rounding.
  20. Look great. I'd get some Nismo style N1 spats for the rear bumper and colour code them and the steps. Just my opinion.
  21. No mate it cleared the diff cooling fins no problem but I had to remove the plastic cover sadly. I'll knock something up if I need to or trim the plastic to fit. Well happy with it its so quiet compared to the k1 can have a conversation now without shouting lol. Just miss the K1's growl when the right foot gets heavy.
