  1. Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments

    - Believe or not the brakes were still fine in that state... I was at Bedford on Friday for my first trackday and I was amazed how well they performed...

Those 22mm bolts take some breaking don't they!!!

    Cheers

  2. Hi guys,

After reading the guides on the forum I thought I would have a crack at this myself... I must admit to being touch nervous as I've never attempted anything like this before so I was really chuffed when it all went so smoothly. I highly recommend giving this go if you have the time and some decent tools :)

Attached are some pictures of my DBA discs and Ferodo pads. Look at the state of the old discs, they looked fine on the outside but the inside was another story :scare:

    Cheers,

  3. If they are the SPC ones that Adrian was looking to use, they do camber and toe. Dont ask me how, but every site that came up on Google said they did both

    +1

I bought the Eibach kit from CS (like piece B above) and the guys at DMS were able to adjust my camber and toe. I don't know how either, I left that to the boys with the spanners and lasers. I can't comment on the bolt kit alone as I bought the arms...

  4. Hi guys,

I have recently ordered some DBA discs and new pads as my original ones are starting to look and feel a bit tired.

Last weekend (with the window down) I started to notice a light rubbing / scuffing coming from the front driver's side wheel.

I jacked the car onto axle stands tonight and spun the wheel around in attempt to locate the issue. The pads still have a 'little' meat left but the inside of the disc is very corroded and seems to be rubbing slightly against the backing plate. I'm not sure if the backing plate has slightly corroded / expanded as I left the wheel on whilst looking under the car.

My discs are shot so I don't care about damaging them, I am just wondering if it safe to be driving around whilst I wait for my new brakes to arrive. This is subtle rubbing - I can still easily turn the wheel and spin it by hand, it's not like I have sparks flying out from under wheel....

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks,

    Matt

  5. Really Dan, was that for the bolts in the middle or the spades than connect to the front bumper? Maybe the guy behind the counter misread this for me. I scoffed and turned faced rather quickly after that quote

For reference I was at Glyn 'Gold Pockets' Hopkins in Waltham Abbey.

  6. When I first started looking at 350's on the net I thought the Alezan interior was foul (too orange) but it's stunning the in the flesh. We're all biased towards our own choices at the end of the day but I think Alezan complements the black paint really well. I think the black leather looks best against the Azure.

It's a personal thing though and I can see why some prefer the black leather :console:
