  1. Hi Rob, Do you mind me asking, would you only need this: http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/steering ... 9-674.html To replace the UK Bose head unit and retain the factoty Bose amp/speakers? I was under the impression you needed more which is why I have not bothered. Thanks, and sorry to srobrien for hijacking your thread. Matt
  2. My standard nob vibrated a lot so the Dr prescribed a Nismo nob, this cleared up my condition quite quickly. Being serious (for just a moment) the Nissan OEM shifter is quick chunky and my Nismo one is very slim so this could explain why it 'appears' to not vibrate. I have seen this post before and it seems quite normal for the 276bhp cars. Matt
  3. Hi CS, In the picture of the turbo discs (that you posted with the box) the discs look a bit gold rather than silver but the ones posted by Greekman look more like a 'normal' silver colour if you follow me... Is that 'gold' colour some kind of rust proofing that wears off once they are on the car? Cheers, Matt
  4. Hi mate, Can I take the Hel Braided Brake lines off your hands? Cheers, Matt
  5. Hi Adrian, I was given these by Big Phil and kept them in a safe place... I don't know anything about this stuff so I'm just regurgitating the numbers! Camber: Min. -1.33 Deg Norm. -0.58 Deg Max. +0.17 Deg L/R Diff - 0.75 Deg Caster: Min. +7.42 Deg Norm. +8.17 Deg Max. +8.92 Deg L/R Diff - 0.75 Deg King Pin Inclination: Min. +4.33 Deg Norm. +5.08 Deg Max. +5.83 Deg Toe: Min: 0" Norm: 0.04" Max: 0.08" I hope this helps, maybe I'll get a sticky Matt
  6. Thanks guys, it was pretty simple in the end but a bit tight! I think I've got some grubby finger prints on the bulbs so I'll be repeating the process soon
  7. Hi all, Is it tricky to change the front indicator bulbs? I have bought a set but there appears to be zero/no room to get behind the headlight unit?? Can you loosen the 4 bolts at the top to get some play? Please don't tell me this a bumper off job
  8. You can get them on Ebay guys, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/350Z-Nismo-Bodyki ... 240%3A1318 Matt.
  9. Isn't the valet key the important one? My valet key has a little metal tag attached to the ring with a serial number, like a small dog-tag. I would have thought you needed (the serial number) to get copies.
  10. I don't think anyone is going complain about this going off topic
  11. It's bit hard in the poor light but it seems to be on as per the standard fittings; http://s484.photobucket.com/albums/rr20 ... %20Hanger/ Does this help? Sorry I couldn't find the other side whilst rolling around in the cold dust!!!!!
  12. Hey, This is it from the outside; http://s484.photobucket.com/albums/rr20 ... 8/Scorpion I'll take a look and get some pictures from the underside for you. Matt
  13. Cheers Ian, I don't want to bother Andy at the moment so I'll give JDM a call regarding the bulbs. I hope you don't hash your knuckles too much fitting them!!
  14. Hey M350ZB, sorry to hijack your post but I had a quick question for Ian! Ian - I've ordered my clear lenses too (from ESR) but I'm not sure what bulbs I need would you mind telling me which indicator bulbs you ordered and if I need a new (red) bulb for the fog or not? Thanks guys, Matt
  15. Let me know if you need a pic of the underside of mine, might have to wait to the weekend though
  16. Hi Matt, The Nismo screws on the standard thread where the original would sit. Fit is perfect unlike the momo I had on my previous car. Be VERY careful as the original is on v.tight and you need a good wrench / set of mole grips to hold the actual shaft before you try to twist off your original gear knob. There is a write up in the guides section. Regards, Matt1!
  17. Hey Adrian, Honestly, you'll be amazed by how much better the shift feels. I'm really chuffed with mine, it's one of my favourite mods. Matt
  18. Hi buddy, I have the Nismo in carbon, I paid about 50-60 pounds for mine from the Z store. I'm really pleased with mine, the shift feels so much better than the stock set-up; http://s484.photobucket.com/albums/rr20 ... 030693.jpg Matt
  19. That looks very nice, I wish I waited a year to buy mine.. With regards to your gear knob I have seen genuine Nissan ones for about 80 quid but I forget where. I bought one of these in the end, the shift feels much more direct now. http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... rentCat=77
  20. Hi Mick, I've made this mistake before, don't take this the wrong way but I've basically bought a product I wasn't ready to use and ended I spent a ages correcting my hand work! I've been using the poorboys range too and the Natty's paste is very good. You apply it to a dry car with a damp applicator and it's buffs off easily with a microfibre cloth, even if you let it dry... http://www.poorboysworld.com/natty-blue.htm Lots of places in the UK sell Nattys for about 15 pounds a tub. I'm in IG9 if you fancy having a look Matt
  21. It does seem a bit strange as we've all read about the extensive testing that takes place prior to release... Now if they're going to give me a nice 313 engine they might as well throw in a bulged bonnet too
