Think you may be right, my car was imported in 07 Oh well.. didnt buy this car to be a tight arse i suppose!

Best way is to put them on here in the for sale section or put them on pistonheads/ebay If you put them up at a decent price (i think about £700 is the going rate) then you should get rid of them pretty quickly!

My car isnt a UK version but i have one of the top toad alarms with proximity sensor. Personally I never really use it as I live in a built up area and park it in a car park but I must say they are really good! Anyway my point is why try to add the alarm to the system, why not just get a replacement alarm with immobiliser, prox sensors, movement sensors and all of the relevent standars that may bring your insurance down for probably less than an add-on? Just my 2 cents..

Why not get some the same colour as your car and just stick it on where people have the carbon fibre lip, i doubt it'd be noticeable and that's where i'd assume most stone chips occur!
