No Ian you are wrong - the owner who had the ECU problem was being wrongly accused by the garage - the handbook sets out the usual procedure for jump starting (for those who may not know how to) I stand corrected

I may be wrong but i'm sure I read somewhere that someone blew their ECU doing this? May be wrong but just thought i'd mention it.

I have the iphone 3g and it is awesome. Im a bit of a tech geek though and its pretty much a pc in my pocket now!

gears are a linear change, the same change at any point in the rpm range with the VQ35DE engine, we suggest upping the rev limiter, though it's certainly not a requirement Can you just change the rev limit on the stock ecu via reflash or do you need the Haltech ECU or similar?

@ 3 mins - absolutely ridiculous. Most of them were horrible. Dont know why but I really liked the Black, Pink and White Veilside Zed though

I get this too. Mine fills up to about 3 quarters then creeps up a tiny bit once driving. I could probably drive to Wales on my warning light. To be honest I dont trust the fuel guage in the Zed anyway. Its always going up and down for me.

Still only works out at around £600 before labour. Not bad for a 15% increase in acceleration. And did you say you could fit it for a tenner Alex?

Hmn.. sounds like a good option again now So am I correct in thinking all that is needed is the main 4.08 drive set and the install kit 1?

Id love to do it, I'd just rather have my car supercharged AND go on holiday for 2 weeks.

Hehehe there was another reason for changing them.....I took a dirty big scratch out of the bumper when removing the original ones....and these badges cover it up Fair play.

Cheers Alex I'm just looking at the moment to be honest. What would the be the drawbacks to this? Shorter gears? Oh, and what has the diff got to do with this? Is this not a sort of gear change in the gearbox?

Has anyone had this done as a 10%(ish) power increase is pretty damn good - better than £200 for a plenum and £150 for an air filter for a 1% increase. Does anybody know what the top speed will be brought down to? I assume if it would be approx 160mph?

Err.. why would you want to do this? Maybe I'm missing the point? If you are buying a badge then your car isn't a GT4 so why does it matter if the badge is real or not??!! Tip of the day for anyone that didn't know: The GT4s have bronze Z badges on the sides! (found out from a member at the Midlands meet with a GT4!)
