    Is there anywhere that actually says that they cannot be tested on rollers. I take mine to a trusted mechanic and MOT station and mentioned this. He knew nothing about it and the automatic testing machine never flagged it up. Mines been on twice now

    It is a GT that looks like it has been washed with a brillo pad. It looks a tad tatty and neglected to me. There are a couple down at Heeley bridge garage Only one is a UK car in silver its a 53 plate advertised as a 54, 54 plate if that is even possible If you are willing to travel there are some nice cars for sale on here, I would be more tempted to go with.

    I changed mine and just removed the strut brace, black plastic plenum cover and air intake pipe. No need to remove the plenum it is not in the way.

    I was told a long time back to tell them everything. That way they cannot get out of paying. Anything that puts more value on the car even if you change your ICE. I changed the exhaust on my 200sx my premium went up £100 that's when I could get insured. A lot of companies will not touch cars that have the performance increased.

    Any particular reason for selling this after only 2 weeks I have a bid in on a new one on Ebay. I would probably be interested in this as I am in Sheffield too, and I know I am going to get outbid again.

    I have had a set on since last June and I have used the car every day through the winter,rain snow you name it, and they have been great.

    I had mine done there last year and will be taking it again in March. I paid £160 and provided nothing Mines due a P3 but I have changed the plugs and replaced the air filter with a non disposable. I shall have to ask them what is needed.

    Make sure the air is set to come from outside and not recirculating inside. That causes bad condensation if left like it too long as well.

    It is because your battery power is low. The alternator is trying to shove more power in it and work harder. It stops doing it after the battery has charged up a bit. It is the alternator belt that is squealing.

    It is an anti hijack precaution. Stops low life jumping in your car as you open it. It also is locked at traffic lights and whatever. I would leave it on 2 it is a great idea.
