The VXR is a totally different performance bracket from a 2.2 though. The 350z is a quicker car than a std 2.2 (not sure how many engine mods Nik has done)

hi mate, my brother owned a vx 220 turbo for a couple of years and i used it more than him so i can make a pretty good comparison. First of all i would say they are totally different cars, the Vx was great for a summers day on a dry road but in anything other than that i found it very twitchy are quite frankly scary as hell!!! The zed is a much more relaxed car to drive (albeit a heavy one) although when you do push it, it can be very agile and is a fantastic drivers car. I would say definitely swap, as fun as the Vx was, its not in the same league as the Zed and to be honest i found the turbo version not as quick as id hoped. On the right road it was awesome but that only happened 5% of the time, the rest of the time the Zed was the quicker car. Anyway im sure you'll get lots of good advice, this is just my opinion.

that's alot of car for 10k!!! I did want to swap mine for a red one but i think i'd have a heart attack when i realise what i've lost on it this year

a guy i know does these, he can do cartoon style but i think he does artist drawings too. He did one of my type r ages ago and he's done lots of my mates cars. it really suits your car actually ian! like everyone says it depends what mods you have but if you haven't done anything else then it wouldn't be at the top of my list.

never get why you would put a hole in your bumper...unless there's a pair of turbos under the bonnet!

interesting to see proper photos of it but i still dont think it looks right. the proportions are just not right, the 350 always looked like a complete design where as this just looks far too heavy on the rear (as mike said) having said that im sure when its on the road it will be a striking looking car.

+1 i watched it again last night and the track wasnt even that wet, there is no way lewis passed glock due to pace!!

i'm not brave enough to take my Zed on Oulton during November, would be well up for this if they do one is the summer. I'll be there to watch though!

not sure about that, i prefer the proportions of the 350 but will wait to view in the flesh and im sure i'll want one!!

had this problem before, basically if you heat it up the window wont drop but aslong as you dont slam the door shut its not a problem. enjoy the motor and welcome

i think that looks seriously ...just shows what a difference a huge suspension drop makes. i think the red nuts is a bit over kill though.
