Surely if the OP is keeping I'd for himself, resale value is not too important. As said there is virtually always hidden damage so I'd think £400 will be very very lucky. Hope it goes well. -

It could just be camber. I'd say 285 tyres are on the limit of how wide you can go but plenty of people run a 9" front, 10" rear et20 without lowering and it doesn't stick out that far. That's the limit of my technical knowledge, someone will be able to help but I'm baffled!

+1, that set up sounds fine so I can only assume the wheels you have aren't what you've been told. You checked to see if your current hubs have spacers fitted? May have been on from the previous owner if you bought the car used? Worth a look.

Bit of feedback please guys, had a bit of interest but no ones bitten the bullet. Am I asking too much? Let me know your thoughts Although in no great rush to sell, I'd rather sell them to a forum member for them to enjoy.

Takes some real dedication to keep the polished lips looking good. Check out bullet magnets wheels, he's just had the lip painted but in a chrome like paint which gives you the best of both worlds. I'd seriously avoid going down the diamond cut option.

Any decent refurb place will tell you straight away if its repairable. From my very limited knowledge if say it would be repairable. Good luck and hope you hunt the b*stard down!

Think about what? If you had 3 resprays you'll know more than us lot! As for colours, maybe a black with a coloured flake. Renault black gold is one of my faves.

Tough one, in theory it's only the lip so it's not structural. I guess it could affect the seal of the tyre but I'm sure it could be fixed. Is it worth fixing, what wheels are they?
