  1. I think that may well be the case.... I will double check tomorrow. If that is indeed the case, then you have answered your own question.
  2. Yes mate, very easy to inspect and diagnose. And also very easy to fix as well.
  3. Welcome to the forum Gary
  4. Toyo T1Rs are a superb tyre and I am very surprised that you have got a dud. You will have no issues with Camskill and if you do, let me know and I will give you an introduction to Toyo who will sort this out immediately for you. As stated previously be very careful with the Zed on mixed tyres. Alex.
  5. Hi mate and welcome to the forum. Clutch issues are extremely common but we have all the fixes on here. Impossible to say exactly what your problem is but the most common clutch issues are: Worn and slipping clutch Faulty clutch slave cyl. Broken clutch fulcrum ball pin. I have all the parts available and prices will depend on what exact model you have. If you are getting a burning smell from the clutch then that means that it will be slipping and a new clutch assembly will be required. If that is the case you would be well advised to swop out the oem dual mass fly for a lightened aluminium single mass fly like Fidanza (which I also have in stock) when the gearbox is out. But let's not get to far ahead of our selves here, best to get it checked out and get a professional diagnoses. Get back to me if you require any further help or any parts. Alex.
  6. Stan, I have used these guys, cheap and cheerful product but not the best on the market, but friendly and helpful. http://www.cover-zone.com/?gclid=CMrt6c ... 4wodbzW4kg Alex.
  7. You may have drilled out to much by now but drilling a hole in the center and using an easy out should work okay. If you can't get up close and intimate then remove the cover and do it on the bench. If you **** up don't worry as I have spare covers. The hole depth is exactly 15mm.
  8. Does the noise go away when you touch the brakes?
  9. Yes, if there is play on the bearing then noises are possible depending on which load is being applied.
  10. Did you check your wheel bearings for wear when you had it jacked up ?
  11. Providing the noise from the oem fly is not to bad then might be an idea to wait until you require a clutch as the gearbox has to come out for both jobs. If you are around 40,000 miles then that time will not be to far away. I have Fidanza flys and Exedy Clutch kits available at great prices. I also have a selection of Brake Discs and pads and have some special offers on at the moment on Performance Friction Rotors and Ferodo DS 2500 pads. OEM ARB drop links are on the shelf as well as the after market adjustable type. All the above are available for next day delivery and if I can help you further then just drop me a pm. Cheers, Alex.
  12. Possibly 3 points if you get caught. Not worth the risk.
  13. Usually the latter.
  14. Welcome to the forum
  15. The manual transmision oil and differential oils are differrent if you run LSD. There are many aftermarket options but just make sure that the tranny oil is API: GL-4 and the LSD is API: GL-5. They are not interchangable and should not be mixed. The above is for U.K cars with 6 speed manual transmission.
  16. Nath, If you put up a list of the items then I will add the part numbers for you. On second thoughts look here http://nissan4u.com/parts/
  17. That is your problem. Not bad for a long distance diagnoses
  18. Yes.
  19. Also check that your pas fluid is at the correct level.
  20. If something is catching, then you will easily see it once underneath.
  21. Well worth a look at. Worth around 15k IMHO providing it checks out okay and if date of first registration is 2005. etc.etc.etc. Easy to map to lower numbers for those that are uncomfortable with the present.
  22. I use a tyre pen on my sets of track tyres so that I can quickly at a glance know which ones go where.
  23. Stew had a similar problem on track around 6 weeks ago. Turned out that oil was passing up the dipstick tube and dripping onto the exhaust. You may have a similar issue but not necessarily from the dipstick area.
  24. I have plenty spare Dave but you would be quicker popping into your local Nissan parts department.
