  1. Nah If I like something I'll say it. I Don't just say stuff for the sake of it. I hope if I make a monumental error that looks sh**e someone would call me on it. I prefere just an honest critic - they're opinion is much more valuable than the +1 or or Just make sure you get the underside of your bonnet painted the same quality as the external paint, makes a huge difference at the shows
  2. <- you can see the spring and metal bracket at the top of this pic?
  3. You got it Rob. Its actually very logical! Alex's thread is very detailed. If you want to do the same mod as me to hack the tape so you dont have to put a blank in, just shout. Dan
  4. yep Alex is correct, well actually i used the +ve from the oem loom, (think its the pink and blue striped wire) and the -ve is bolted through one of the bolts behind the stereo facia. (just under the nav screen on the left hand side if you want the exact one ) http://www.dvbcaraudio.co.uk/ipod-phono ... -4087.html I got mine from ebay for about 10 quid but I cant find one now... here is one from a store. Edit: Alex has pointed out the correct one
  5. ps. my goal was the solution to look OEM and as uncluttered as possible. I think I achieved that.
  6. Ive never used the tape ... ever! So thought that was the easiest way to mod it. Look literally 4 seconds to do
  7. After using this thread as my guide viewtopic.php?f=9&t=29312&p=515508#p515508 I decided I need to get an Ipod in ... the reason's I didn't do it sooner was: It couldnt charge the Ipod, it didn't charge and it required a tape in the slot. After hunting about on ebay i found the following cable ... As you can see this cable is the same as used in the guide above but it has the additional possive and negative for charging the IPOD. So my ipod is like this when in the car.... its charging/ on power WAHOO! The other thing I did different to the guide about is remove the following spring and metal piece Which fooled the BOSE into thinking it had a tape in therefore I didnt need a 'blank' one in Thus ... and in the words of Gordon.... DONE
  8. Just used your MP3 Mod! Worked a treat cheers mate!
  9. Looks good, what are the whiteline bushes like?
  10. Depends what i want doing, to be honest the stuff i bought is made from a Hybrid material - 'a fabrication technique used by Ings+1 that utilizes urethane in the molding process' so it alot more resistance to scrapes and bangs etc. Its held up really well with only superficial scratches so far.
  11. I have a standing order setup with my bodyshop ha ha ha
  12. I think Gus has a good point there though. Aren't these unofficial Nismo stickers aswell? You have done a DIY on applying a sticker, I have never met anyone who has been stumped with the engineering of a sticker. I'm all for advertising a company and especially if they have provided you good service or a recommended product but surely use their official stickers or promo stuff.
  13. Did he mow your floor mats ha ha, looks like a footy pitch!

    BLEEDING BRAKES

One is the clutch other is brakes, larger reservior (nearer the drivers wing mirror) is the brakes. Without sounding very bitchy ... if you're not confident at the difference between a clutch and a brake master cylinder should you be really be mucking about with your brakes as failure could be fatal!
  15. You need some colour in your lives! haha ha good you all have different front bumpers
