it is an apartment above three garages, the garage door has two fairly thin peices of wood/plastic running either side, might be able to modify it, i only know one DIY guy and he is the sort of person that thinks anything is possible even if it meant the house collapsing to get the car in (ive not told him this issue yet) If it had no garage door at all, no runners, and the auto mirrors folded in then i might get in, (tho having mirrors would be useful.... ill try post some pics tomorrow.

Just brought myself my first new house, move in on the 14th march, cant wait, but, the sodding garage isnt big enough for the zed, the wheel arches are too wide (well the garage is too small).. really annoying because once in the garage you could open the doors almost fully, just the entrance thats too thin... ARGH!!! So the plan is to garage the misses aygo (which to be fair is currently the easiest car on the market to steal) and leave mine on the drive. Do i get a car cover or not, the misses reckons it will draw attention, i think its a good idea... alternatively dismantel the garage (im a geek so know nothing of this DIY)

daily driver for me, 32 mile round trip and some good roads occasionally take the misses Toyota Aygo which makes me re-appreciatte the zed all over again.

How would the stand thing work, whenever ive been to donny getting into the site would require turning up at 3 in the morning just cars parked all over the place, tho i would be interested in a stand an possibly staying over... (if i can convince the misses a tent is a comfortable place to be) I'd also be interested if tracktime if was included in the £65 price tag, coventry isnt too far to come from

Hi all If i select mpg/avg speed on the lcd display it stays there for a while or for the whole journey, it seems as though if i drive 'enthusiastically' it thinks i dont want to see the mpg and swaps to the temperature and 'icy' warning, is this normal? Is my car driving to defy my wishes of seeing how much petrol its drinking? It seems as though its having a sly slurp when im not looking and altering the display to get away with it... Ta steve

sl114:- My friend had a cooper, then a works cooper s, both were brilliant little cars, the standard cooper can handle like a go kart when you get used to it... works s was a hard ride, but i like the suspension to feedback as long as its not 'too' silly. Also you mentioned your misses lived in coventry? (or am i making that up) the sytner have a fairly decent range 2nd hand there for test drives etc and if you go to a main dealers the cov one has got some good feedback, I couldnt tell whether or not the photo was the one in cov or not... Good luck either way. And just in case you need it, the sportscar specialist in birmingham i drove past the other day has some nice corvettes etc.. nice silver z06

Having now taken delivery of the zed and trying to stop myself from smiling like a maniac i was wondering... I received a leaflet posted by nissan suggesting the 10 greatest roads in britain to 'Get to know your Zed' 2 or 2 of which were in wales, north/south respectively.. IS this the route we will be taking, or is that more dictated by pubs? The route said be careful of sheep...
