  1. was an awesome show, i will be posting my pictures later, hope they got people to donate in the end, sounded like some confusion with that. just waiting for chesterfield to organise the group buy on http://www.ciao.co.uk/SABER_EDV_dump_valve_simulator__Review_5568699 Shame sarnie got rid of his lambo otherwise we could of all got one...
  2. Just come past there, m6 was a car park See you Sunday morning. 5000th post met you at keele at 8am buddy gratz on the 5000th post!
  3. i think bottom line is it needs to be insured under someone elses name with you as a driver. group 20 car on a 22 yr old with no ncb is not going to be easy. can your mum or someone take insurance out in their name with you on the policy as a named driver? modified as well, if it wasnt modded i got a fairly decent deal with kwikfit tho i would not rate their insurance department, modded i think your gonna have to go under someone else...(so to speak) good luck man!
  4. ha, excellent, ill just park my car infront of rob and hope he just starts cleaning it for me without noticing If you dont mind I would like to see which work best, having a black car can get quite damn mucky on long drives.. can you use that stuff on the outside of the rims as well or just bodywork? ta for the info
  5. NXT speed detailer is great stuff Yep, Ultimate Quick Detailer is even better and Poorboys QD+ is better than that because it smells nice! I will have plenty with me. I will be staying at the Ramada Bolton on Saturday night if anyone fancies catching up for a drink the evening before. How much and where from? halfords?
  6. i took to nissan and they could not of been more helpful... all seems fine now and no more issues. obviously the larger test will be at santapod this weekend so we shall see, depending on how kind the christmas tree is feeling will decide on the clutch i guess..
  7. anyone recommend any of that quick detailing stuff?? obviously ill clean the zed before hand but its a long way away
  8. i completely agree! that was the philosophy that got me in the zed in the first place you sound like a man who has already decided on a list of mods!
  9. Decided couldn't wait a year for ours so have just this morning placed an order for a white, black edition should arrive in about 8 weeks. yes, i think my clutch might need doing as well
  10. Great service, offered me a decent courtesy car, offered to look at the clutch problem free of charge and see about replacement, offered me coffee, and sorted an oil problem i had out free too... well impressed I know this is what we should expect having spent so much on a car but it seems rarely delivered. This place was suggested to me by a sports car specialist who has never had a problem with them and was shocked when i told him of the cov branch issues i had experienced...

  12. why dont you buy yourself a high mileage 02 plate import zed instead and have one for work! The boxster is a nice car, my boss had one for a while, only thing to watch out for is if they have had to do any repair work, they had a scuff on the back offside panel and porka pop riveted a new panel on in a different shade...
  13. I purchased the white reflectors for a 56 pearl black zed they look awesome, I got them from Phil @ ESR, i think they also had blanking ones and a smoked version that looked very dark... [/img]
  14. ill be coming up from coventry on m6 if anyone wants to convoy it.

  17. Apologies for blasting past you, for some reason that corner lures me in... nice lookin zed, lovely spoiler.
  18. I have heard of files being renamed by programs to file.uu as it usually refers to a flag for something else to encode/decode the file. Never heard of renaming a shortcut though, and although i wouldnt panic too much I think it would be worth running a quick scan http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner Above is a good online scanner which is currently the market leader in recognised threats, tho it will only tell you of the problem, not get rid of it, worth doing though.
  19. hummm, thats worrying, I havent been overloading it as such, but i might have a word with nissan uk (who are rubbish) mine has exactly 15000 miles on it too... ta SwissZ
  20. Hi All I was at some traffic lights yesterday and gave the engine 'some' beans, probably held it at 2500-3000 revs, then i went to let the cluch out ans nothing happened. Clutch came out about half an inch, wasnt coming out any further and no power went to the wheels. It pulled forwards slowly and then about 30 seconds and a few presses of the clutch later all went back to normal. no dials showing anything funky ... Help? Thanks MrLizard
