well your welcome to come up to coventry, i cant admit to having had as much experience at making tea as andrew but there will be a cup here waiting im in kent on saturday but not in the zed!

im pretty sure zedrush did have the k1 on his car but as i never saw it im unsure whether or not the fit was any good.

There are no legal limits on the noise the car can make, only the surroundings it makes it in. So, the police advise you that you are disturbing the peace or annoying some chavs whilst there trying to stab a gran or something then it can be deemed as too loud. Ive never been pulled but then i only open the taps fully on country roads and the occasional slip road. It is also illegal to change an exhaust on a car for the sole purpose of increasing the noise over the standard exhaust, but interestingly you can alter it to increase or decrease performance/mpg. In regards the track bedford said i can come down and they will test it with their db meter before i pay as i dont want to get banned!

the noise without is awesome as well but i only use that for special occasions, you are talking about attracting a fair amount of attention and possibly setting car alarms off (my record is about 20ft away) underload through 2nd gear sounds better than anything else ive heard though worried im not going to pass the DB tests at the autodrome trackday next weekend

see i think i would prefer a left then right hook to the face than being kicked square in the balls but then i guess thats just my preference., Zedrush, any thoughts on who might like to supply said brake items. envy dont seem to supply anything but endless (which look nice but cost 60% of a FI install) and ESR for obvious reasons arnt responding at the mo.

the last person i saw with one large turbo went down the 1/4 mile slower than my stock zed admittedly it looked like it may have been running incorrectly in some respect but still... two twin scroll turbos would be better im sure

lol, it is LOUD, as i mentioned before i keep the bungs in most of the time, the noise is awesome though, video/sound doesnt do it justice at all...

what is the ESR big brake kit? their own or rebranded?

i think the car looks awesome as standard (apart from the wheels) so im more leaning towards performance for me, trying to spend money with anyone at the moment is proving to be difficult though, its as if people dont want to take it off me on the list suspension - possibly sway bars depending on how this goes... big brake conversion (prolly stoptech) front splitter rear diffuser k&n intake FI remap stripped interior bucket seat/4 point harness spare set of alloys/tyres probably in that order with the first two in the frame right now.

i put the zed up for sale, so i took the k1 off and put the standard back on , i then having had a few silly offers coupled with prospects at work looking up decided to keep the zed, so ive refitted the K1 It has made a fairly obvious performance increase over the standard exhaust, im told this is probably the Y pipe but it is noticeable. I am now trying to buy the kw suspension and a few other goodies but cant find a single person anywhere in the midlands willing to fit and get the geometry/alignment setup done for me, which means, i may end up in sunderland again (500 mile round trip) which in turn means, i might as well get a few other things whilst there... Track day 29th though so running out of time...

welcome to the site. what year and how many miles? There should be no lids missing and the engine/oil temp should be well below the redline... mine even when making progress doesnt reach halfway.

i am going to purchase the kw variant 1 suspension which will require some further setup over the standard, im in coventry so might check them out, let me know what you think, ta

Does anyone know where i can get the suspension im about to replace setup, someone in the midlands would be good. I assume that nissan main dealerships probably have the equipment but no idea how to do it? Ta Lizard

works fine for me but as i enjoy driving the zed i dont bother making any outbound calls, usually forget im at work and should be calling people incoming is good though

is that specifically designed for siamese twins?
