There is a black plastic cover just to the side of the drivers rear wheel i think that has to come off bud and you should then get a perfect fit i didnt see that

no 8 washers either 2 screw holes each side. at work at the moment...

Hey all i brought one of these from Mr Phil in the closing down sale however i am struggling to figure out which bolts i need to use, the brace only has 2 screw holes in it and my current brace uses 4, i can get 2 of them to line up but only when the brace is facing the wrong way, i can see that i can remove the orange bits and switch it round, am i doing this correctly? also i have a plenum spacer, any issues that i might face there? thanks steve

you can certainly buy the rubber parts for the exhaust yes, come in a pack usually, however im having issues finding any online, my mechanic friend reckons most places that fit exhausts would sell you some.

all 3 have to be attached to the rubber gromit things, the rear one is a pain in the backside, thats the one i had to bend slightly to pull it back in to alignment. read the airfilter thread for more info... ta

I was thinking about a couple of different ones tbh, after hearing yours in the flesh though and considering the price i think its a bargain, im just hoping it transfers heat better than the stock one on the track... we shall see.... I must say that the quality of the material is actually better than i expected which is good, however i had a nightmare fitting mine... was way out of alignment, had to get the LARGE wrench out and bend one of the metal rods on the back, im concerned that it might knock on the diff or the metal cover for the stock exhaust but i have yet to drive it. it took me and a m8 2 hours to align properly, i will take pics in the day light and let you see the finish, which is now perfect to start with it was out by about 2 inches on the right and probably a cm to high on the left. condering the price i wonder about the quality control, what reg is your car davidmillzy

i can strongly recommend deadspace on the ps3 i only have that, rubadub and the two ps1 fav's Destruvtion Derby 1 and Wipeout 1

im fitting mine in about 1 hour so ill let you know how it goes, though im doing it myself in the dark so hopefully it will line up! Then the K1 gets shipped off to the highlands
