  1. i really enjoyed my k1 when i had it (about 3 months), the noise is excellent and gets better once its been coked up a bit the bungs sound awesome as well im sure youll like it
  2. brakes and suspension vastly improve laptimes in the zed, made an incredible difference to mine, the zed's chassis is a great layout (although heavy) but it is let down by the standard suspension, get it lowered/stiffened - better brakes, even if just pads, and if it comes with the bridgestones get them off!
  3. +1 to all that, also worth checking oil level, and dont stay out too long, make sure you do a cool down lap after youve hooned it otherwise you will cook the brakes, ive used moris before for insurance but as Ekona said the figures are about right, also be aware that there is never any blame on a trackday, imo it isnt you driving like a tit you have to worry about, its others, if someone else hits you then no blame is put on them, its up to you to sort it.... (ive always took insurance before but will consider not doing next time) oh, and make sure you have fun cc is great
  4. traction control off, spin the wheels in the glue stuff at the start, youll see what i mean, and make sure your windows closed, dont worry about hitting it right on the green light (first time) because it makes no difference to your end result, good luck an enjoy it, let the zed cool down between runs and make sure oil etc is spot on
  5. excellent, the zed is capable of very high 13's, gotta get those shift times down it has been a lovely day for it, zed looks great
  6. which bonnet is that?, does look excellent!
  7. had them on a 1 series bmw and found them to be completely useless at everything other than running when flat, grip/feel/noise/price all rubbish imo... you have a spare tire anyway?
  8. its difficult to say i guess, it was the first mod i did, buy a panel filter one day and the next day im on the track having spent further $$$$... im not sure who to blame for this but someone should be taking responsibility
  9. i tried selling a strut brace on there for about 25% of the retail value and they just deleted it... have to wonder....
  10. i have a post 06 air box with the intake pipe and the weird metal inlet thing on it for sale as well as a nismo panel filter, i must admit i thought it did increase the noise slightly and free up the rev range but only very minimally, im open to offers though i dont know if the intake pipe MAF thing is the same fitment on pre 06, if that makes sense...
  11. still considering selling my nismo's just trying to see if the wheels i want to replace them are available in the right offset
