  1. i took that picture at the midlands meet when verma couldnt find the keys to his zed...... alternatively i might have just googled bouncing car images
  2. WRT the car becoming chavvy, the only hope we have is that the Zed isnt the usual hot hatch and doesnt immediately strike young scroats as a car they could have or want to have. After all they cant ferry all their mates around with their tunes blaring out in a 2 seater sports car Bit more expensive to run than a nova sri or a focus ST I would say...3.5 V6 hopefully puts them off...haven't seen any in mcdonalds (not that I go but when driving past)..apart from Mr Lizards in walsgrave Oi! ill have you know i invented reverse drifting by putting trays under the front wheels and sticking it in reverse around the car park....... or i would have done if id thought of it when i still had my car, didnt realise how much id miss driving it til it had been in the garage for a month or so... anyway better than your bouncy suspension
  3. The seats are easy to swap just remember to do one set of bolts, then slide seat forwards, disconnect battery, leave for 5 mins, then do next set of bolts, disconnecting all the harnesses whilst your at it, obv park somewhere with enough space to open the door fully. Steering wheel is quite straight forward but mine was a pain in the ass, it has those safety screws star shaped in it with loctite around the edge and the notch in the middle to stop you using a standard tool, i broke 1 or 2 trying to remove mine, came off in the end tho, make sure you leave the battery off for this.... Also having watched a m8 explode my passenger airbag (safely of course ) try not to take one of those to the face!
  4. pictures as requested for people apologies for the out of focus picture, there is a slight dent where my heel have been but it isnt a hole and doesnt look bad at all.
  5. you have no idea how many pairs of shoes and clothers this is taking!, ill be lucky to break even!!!
  6. suspect it will be one of the gtr's but im sure it will be just as much fun m8!
  7. second set look a lot like the rs4/s3 rims, i prefer them to the 1st set
  8. what i dont get is why people seem to bid on these heaps of junk...
  9. Ian they look awesome well played on the steering wheel as well, i was having some issues with the horn on my wheel as well, how did you fix it in the end? i implemented the wind window down and shout method...
  10. potentially mine but not driven by me :/
  11. i dont have mine either but there are 2 others where i work so im staring at them
  12. Let me know if you get stuck thanks, ive got some issues with the domain security policy but i reckon i can sort that, ive managed to replicate AD to the middle ground server now, im guessing the next step is going to be disconnect and make it a gc/pdc... i have some docs so im reading that. sun god ra, if your a qualified tech and would potentially like some weekend rates this saturday send me a pm, (based in midlands) ta
  13. i dunno what you typed into google for that but fair play i found that if you remove the sub cover/sub/metal bracket you can sit on that bit as a bench but you have to get a m8 to lie down and do the pedals
  14. im doing a 2 man server migration on my own, attempting to go from sbs03 to sbs08 on the same box swing migration style... my tech has swine flu and the lesser tech is on holiday .......................... i do have a nice server to play with as the middle ground though, 4x quad core xeon's and 32gb o ram/ 5x 450gb 15krpm sas drives.. im probably boring people now, sorry, i think id rather be where martin is?
  15. If anyone has seen the comedy series JAM then mine will make sense, if you havent then its going to sound a little odd: Basically in one sketch the is a TV repairman attempting to explain why there are lizards crawling out of the back of some guys TV, you know what, if you havent seen it, dont worry, i think you need to be in a specific state of mind to get it
  16. Boot mat is available, rear strut cover the Z bit you can see through the window was sold, though i wish i had about 100 of them because almost everyone ive spoken to seems to want one
  17. actually it is different for facelift cars and bizarrely even tho mine is a facelift car due to some swapping with Darren-B i dont have one that is a direct replacement for yours. i do have one from his car which is an 04 in good condiiton but you would have to hack it up a bit, dont want to do myself out of a sale but you might be better waiting for another one to come up. thanks for the plug mike keep at it and ill add you to the commision list
  18. also just remembered (thx sunset) i have 6 NGK sparkplugs that have done 19k miles, assuming they havent been changed from new, £10 tho i suppose anyone will want them
  19. ive just done this. and can confirm they fit. never had any issues with opie recomendations to be fair, you will require a pack of 4 and 2 obviously, but you get a slight discount for buying 4 at a time...
  20. looks excellent, quite like the style of the vented bonnet as well
  21. ok am updating the original post again, thanks for all the pm's i can now actually stand in my garage.. I have had about 5 pm's about the mats. i will clean them this evening and post a pic...
