  1. the calipers are what you pay for, i dont use AP pads and the discs are about £150 a pop.
  2. that is a good price for a great kit, definitely for hard track work though
  3. imo the reason for the mesh is to stop stones and bits of rubber and birds getting jammed in the radiator... ive had two birds sucked in through the scoop on the scoob so far...
  4. the one on the car is black, i brought another from allesandro on here as im butchering one to have the brake ducts and splitter on it and having a spare is a good idea was going to paint it bright orange but ive not done anything with it yet..
  5. i have a spare silver bumper that is straight in that colour and i want to put a zman grill on mine id be happy to swap for free assuming its the same silver, for you anyway as i dont care what colour it is
  6. Ditched that and didn't stop
  7. yes i remember you m8 how you getting on with it?
  8. Hi I brought these about 2 years ago, they have been on the race car and used as a track rim for the last year, awesome wheels in my opinion. There are a couple of scratches on the rims as shown by the photos but nothing bad.. if they were in good condition then I would say 1200+ however due to the fact that if you wanted them perfect it would cost another £200 (as im advised by a pro refurbishment outfit) then I think Offers around £1000+ P+P is fair. The r888's on these rims have done 2 days of racing, about 2 hours worth, new they are about £1100 for the tyres alone, 3 of them are probably ok to do a little track work on, 1 as seen in the picture, front left has had it really due to the fact I need to get rid of the rims im not adding anything to the price for the tyres. I am also selling a good set of bright orange rays 18" with r888's on, im open to offers and willing to do someone a stonking deal if they want both The cat, also called nismo is not for sale...
  9. you wish YOU hadnt brought a GT pack, i think i win that clearly! I wish i hadnt brought an 06 mint GT with 6k on the clock Still, love it to bits And i thank you Steve mate! haha chris no worries, at least something good came out of it in that all those bits arnt collecting dust
  10. you wish YOU hadnt brought a GT pack, i think i win that clearly! I wish i hadnt brought an 06 mint GT with 6k on the clock Still, love it to bits
  11. why would you bother with the z4?
  12. not massively legal afaik as i think ford own the copyright on that, but it doesnt stop them from existing for all manor of cars on the track its excellent, although only half of mine works (as its done in two halves) if i had a passenger, or even a passenger seat they would be able to see perfectly... i cant tell you whether it is legal on a road going car that isnt a ford, i might be completely wrong and loads of manafacturers might use them...
  13. 19" nismo wheels as i should have stopped messing about with lovely looking stuff and just sorted the car out for track... Big Phil advised me not to buy them and buy them in the same sentence, very convincing man.. Guess the stubby aerial was a mistake as i dont have a radio... camber bolts still in the pack never needed (as i need more than they can give) Removing the weight in the boot before i got a cf boot because it hit me on the head when i undid one of the screws and ive not been the same since... Regret spending money on the front heated windscreen to get it cracked off the start line in the first race it was fitted in, but i now have another
  14. Didn't think you would say otherwise Very true..... haha, just say it as i see it,
  15. another recomendation for Abbey Motorsport
  16. I have some for sale, pm me an offer
  17. I use the UpRev tune which was done by Abbey on the race car, all I can say is it is well worth the money! the car drives so much better, Mark worked his magic and squeezed another 40bhp out of mine which was running below where it should have been as well as sorting the throttle control out you wont be dissapointed, your probably better off talking to Mark or Scott @ Abbey on the subject
  18. Chris abbey do some decent highflow cats for the HR aswell, have a word with scott/mark and then might be worth having it tuned if your changing them?
  19. the air duct is the best advice, ive tried both, decent panel filter with the air duct cut in it is spot on...
  20. yes, we ran the v2's upto now, as ZmanAlex suggests a 2mm allan key from the top, there is a hole in the rear strut that allows you access, ive been altering settings in the pits so its not hard to do without the trim... not so easy with all the boot trim though..
  21. i get this in the race car, transmission tunnel and where the Y pipe connects, be worth reaching over and putting your hand in the same spot on the passenger side as i suspect it will be the same temp... you could quite easily boil an egg off the floor of mine post race, certainly would be able to touch it without gloves
